the nvc thread is tooo confusing for me...maybe cuz i am not filling out any of those forms yet.

quick questions...for people who is giving u the 2nd affdavit of support...do their credit have to be good? or is it just their salary that they care about?

So my congressman's representative called and found out that my case was sent to NVC on March 26 and arrived March 28. Two days. After sitting for a whole month post approval. So I will start calling next week to see about getting a case number...I sure hope the whole process at nvc can be wrapped up in three months so my wife can get here by July!

Look at my signature. K3 was received and case number assigned yesterday. It only took 11 days. Filling out the ds160 tonight and tying to get an interview. Read todays posts on the April NVC thread. NVC reveived 100,000 cases from uscis. That must be the reason the k3s are making it to the embassy.

Look at my signature. K3 was received and case number assigned yesterday. It only took 11 days. Filling out the ds160 tonight and tying to get an interview. Read todays posts on the April NVC thread. NVC reveived 100,000 cases from uscis. That must be the reason the k3s are making it to the embassy.

I received a NOA2 on 7 Feb 14, it stayed at USCIS until today...

Reason: I called NVC to ask if my case was there, I'm on my 8th week after NOA2. The lady said call againg after your 8th week. I said that is in two days. Then she told me to sent an emal to nvcresearch@state.gov and nvcinquiry@state.gov Include petitioner's name, DOB, beneficiary's name DOB and case number in the subject line. Sent it today at 1pm.

At 2:15 pm I received a text saying "On April 2, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."

So what gives? The system does not work! you have to be an A hole and check and check and check... I called NVC twice a week and received the " Wait 8 weeks after NOA2" bunch of BS.

I called and called everyday.

I called early on April 1st around 7:45 am and they didn't have it yet. Gave me the 8 weeks to receive #######. Then I called a little after 12 noon and they told me a number was just assigned. So tonight my husband and I filled out the DS160 online and submitted it. The NVC told me to call back Friday to make sure the file is sent out to the embassy.

I'm going to have my husband make his medical appointments just to get them scheduled and done. I don't want to play around with this.

I hope this goes faster for you !! I hate seeing you wait and wait.... its so stupid

I can't speak for NSC... BUt TSC sent me a text saying my case was shipped to the NVC on March 21st. It was received and given a case number on April 1st. That is my K3. I am not even asking about my I-130 because I am hoping to go the K3 route. I hope it will be shipped to the embassy by tomorrow ( per the NVC operator) The I-130's are taking 20-30 days to get received and then even more time to get a case number.

They told me "wait 8 weeks" every single time I called. Even the morning of the day it was received. So keep calling... Everyday... three times if it makes you feel better ! Don't feel bad.. You paid the fees...

Don't wait.. call everyday. My K3 case number was assigned the same day it was received and last night my husband and I submitted the DS 160.

thats just crazy... Have you contacted the Senator? I think it might be sitting on someones desk and has been overlooked. Maybe that officer has it on their desk waiting for the RFE response and then got instructed to process other files and got sidetracked.. Still not an excuse but I can't think of any other explanation.

My waiting for NOA2 will be a year in 12 days......... that's 353 days waiting for that......and nothing yet.......next week 'll be seeing and spending time with my wife....just to make us feel better...but this waiting is really a bunch of BS.....on saturday my request for info will be 30 days...lets see what kind of ####### they will tell me then

You know, with all due respect, looking at your signature i don't see how the K3 has sped up the process. The timeline seems very similar to people who only filed the I-130.
