LoveMyTico, how crazy is it that you were approved AFTER me, but your files shipped BEFORE me...it shows that USCIS has their heads shoved way up their a$$es! They told my congressman's rep that BS about having to wait untill they have full boxes before they ship it...but that I should get shipped end of this week or next week. Whatever. I hope Karma gets them all!

This is just the craziest thing ! I bothered them everyday 2 weeks before my approval. Maybe they just wanted to get me out of there so they didn't have to see another letter from me. LOL who friggin knows ? 11 Months is just a stupid ridiculous waiting period. I am still angry about it !

Try and send letters to the people I sent letters to and demand a reason why your file is still sitting at the TSC. Send them everyday !!!

I plan on calling everyday to see if they receive my files. I'll start calling twice a day... I don't care.

Tico Girl, yesterday i called NSC and they told me i have to wait 90 days before i can ask them about being transferred to NVC and i was like 90 DAYS????????????????? ####### for???? i said i got the letter saying you already sent it then where r these 90 days coming from. then he was like..mam you have to check with your local office and i was like...my local office has nothing to do with this...u dumbo. i feel bad for the reps but they dun care wat they say to us n how much this effect our life. ill bug the heck out of them too now...

They love to throw out that 90 day ####### ...Its just something to tell you in hopes you won't call back and clog the lines. I hate this whole process. I feel sorry for the people who believe those lies

So today I get a notice that my file was shipped today...its absolute proof that they just shoved my files in the corner, probably on purpose because my wife is Russian. No way its just a coincidence that it ships 2 days after my congressman's office called. It makes me even madder actually. The whole bull$hit about having to fill boxes...what a joke.

Glad it got shipped. FINALLY.. Maybe mine is in the same box waiting to be shipped. The are full of SH!T and what a huge waste of time. UGHHHHH

I just got off the phone with NVC after being on hold 38 minutes. The rude witch ( jean) told me my case will take up to 8 weeks to be received by the NVC. The other day the nice man told me if they sent a message that my case was shipped then it is probably on its way but since they have 1000's to log in, it takes time. 8 weeks is unacceptable in my book !

8 frackin weeks...what a bunch of criminals...honestly, the whole immigration process needs to be a one stop shop...not two different places. The sad thing is, there probably will never be any reform....its all about illegals and Mexico while US Citizens are split from their families.

they are full of ####### with their 8 friggin weeks. They need to stop giving themselves a huge cushion. You are right about the illegals. I couldn't agree more !!

I had this conversation with a guy at work. We were saying that you should submit EVERYTHING at the beginning. If you need a waiver or you have special circumstances then it gets submitted all at once. Then the same officer does the whole package and approves or gives an RFE. If you get an RFE then you get pulled aside. Then all the others who submitted the correct info get pushed through and go to the embassy. All these different steps and shipping from here to there is just creating too many jobs and causing too many delays.. and if its not one stop shopping, then scan the file and make an electronic copy. Send that back and forth to save money on shipping DHL... let the thing get reviewed and when its complete send the original to the embassy. They make it such a friggin project.

Not yet, I am planning on waiting about two weeks from shipping notice before I start calling. I am pretty sure there is no notification when NVC receives files, its just by calling. I am praying that the month delay wont push my family's arrival into august! I have no idea how long NVC is taking from the time they give case number....

are you planning on doing the K3?

The I-130 is taking about 20-30 days just to get a case number at the NVC once its received. I was told by NVC that the K3s have priority and are recived first..They get a case number and are shipped to the embassy.

Yes, I did the I-130 CR1 and the 129f K3 as well. Not sure how the k3 can be received first...i think both files are shipped to NVC together at the same time...Whichever gets my wife and stepdaughter here the quickest. God help me if they cant get here before august!

My NOA2 was sent on February 7 from Nebraska Center, As of last Friday It has NOT been received by NVC... I was given the "wait until 8 weeks..." ####### before they can do a file check... by me emailing my NOA2 to NVC so they can see what happened.

BTW i check on Nebraska Service Center and showed recessing time of I130 as 5 MONTHS!!! as of January 14. I took mine 11 MONTHS!!!

Crazy.. luckily though I haven't experienced anything against Russians (either at USCIS or NVC).

Though I do know that my case was actually shipped a week after the USCIS site said it was - I think it's just like everything else; no information/answer is totally reliable until you get physical proof that something has happened, and one person's mistake/laziness turns into a lost month for us.

atleast tsc is working faster than nsc cuz we just got an email that they shipped out package to nvc or department of state....god knows when i will get the number for nvc.
