K3's do get through. The Tokyo embassy had my K3 a week and a half after USCIS approved the petition. Never got any sort of notification until the embassy sent my wife a letter to begin the processing. We had to call and email the embassy to cancel the K3 to go with the CR1. USCIS= clueless. And I usually average about an hour on hold with NVC. Sad lol.

I hope mine goes through !! I can't bare to wait another 3 months for a case complete . Come on K3 I'm holding out for you !! LOL LOL LOL

I'll be calling regularly til I get my K3 case number. I'll track it to the embassy and then I'll call them...

NVC told they'll ship my K3 to the embassy this coming week (week of 24 March) and they'll send me an email for further processing steps.

I can't wait!

In my case, I get to set the interview date!!!! at least according to an email I got for non-immigrant visa at the US consulate in Casablanca Morocco

I hope mine gets shipped and processed ASAP. I dealt with the Embassy before in a case years ago. I did the K3. As soon as I tracked it to the embassy, I called them and was able to get the packet emailed so we could get started. Costa Rica does not have a decent postal service so they don't mail anything. My husband has to go pick it up. So if I can get them to email it, he can make all the appts in one day. It is about a 2 hour ride to the embassy from his house... then back again to the doctor appt.... its too much wasted time. The embassy was super easy to deal with. I even got to choose our interview date. I hope it is the same .... I hope I hope I hope...

How long did it take for the embassy to get your K-3? Did you bother tracking it or did you just get a letter saying they were processing it?

I didn't forget about this thread.... I still pray for every who is still here. I know the pain !!

I called today just to see if they got my files. She said call back in 8 weeks...... HA HA in her dreams ... I'll be calling everyday ! I don't care about the I-130. My main interest is the K3. I hate their "general" answers to questions !! But I learned not to get upset.

NoelAnne, I hope all goes well with your medical and you get your interview !! I pray our K-3 will get there this week but I hear TSC is super slow to transfer cases to the NVC... GRRRRRRRRRR

HEY DVMAN !!! good to see you here !

Did you get a text message saying your file was shipped? I swear if TSC holds up my approved cases I'll freak the hell out... I also got a status update email saying the file is no longer at the TSC and I will need to call the NVC from now on. Please don't tell me TSC is being stupid !!

The NVC told me to wait 8 weeks for them to receive my file... Are they waiting for the horse and buggy to deliver it? Last time I checked it is 2014 and we have services like FEDEX and DHL and I am positive the government gets preferred deliveries and at a huge discount. Even the snail FEDEX service gets there in 10 days or less
