Thanks !

I just called the useless line... yesterday marked 5 months for my K-3. TSC has 5 months posted as processing time. Tried to do an E Request but it says I am within normal processing times. So I call and I am told by tier 1 that I have 27 more days before I can put in a service request for that. What a joke.... I can't stand it anymore... 27 more days puts my K3 at 6 months.. Not what they have on their website. My I-130 is over 11 months.. Not what they have posted on their website.. But not one single person will do anything ! What is the big friggin hold up???? I am currently on call back for tier 2.. 94 minues.. Really?????? Not that I expect to get an answers from tier 2 either. I want to know why they changed my Alien Registration Number ( a number that doesn't even exist) and I haven't received an approval by now.... March 12th they changed it... here it is the 17th. Are they all Irish over there in Texas? Are they out for a long extended lunch to celebrate???

Can ya tell I have had it ? I'm so sick with disgust !

Sorry about the ranting... I don't have anything else I can do...

Senator's office says I should hear something this week. Well. I am not holding my breath. Nothing ever happens like they say..

when my I-129F went over 5 months, a tier 2 put in a service request for me. I was not able to do it in the system.

Good luck LoveMyTico, we all here support you and I wish there was something we could do to help you besides praying for you!

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

Tier 2 refused to put in a service request... He said I have 27 more days to wait... Total Bull ... aslo said the time posted are "average" processing times and everyone's file is different.

Senator's office said all we can do is wait and if we don't hear something this week, then she will follow up AGAIN next week. I am so sick of hearing "just wait"

Just some info. Even though I have an Irish passport, I live in Co.Down, N Ireland, so that means I have to have my medical in London and then back again for my interview, my flight for next week cost £185. A bit of a pain in the ####### as the US embassy in Dublin is only a 50 minute drive from my house! Aren't they all the same US embassy?? By the time I go to london twice, pay medical fee, have to stay over for interview as I'll probably have to be there for 7 30am, it will have cost me the tidy sum of £800. Rant over!! Lol

Hey Anne, its a small world... I'm originally from Lisburn :) What part of Co. Down are you from? My parents too have to make double trips for medical/interview. It would be so much easier if the Northern Irish residents could just go through Dublin.

Collie, the girl in Knightsbridge doctors told me that in some cases people book the medical just the day before the interview, stay over and go for the medical and the visa will be issued pending the results of the medical which they receive 3 or 4 days later. Might work for cr1 as the NVC issue the date for the interview and then I guess you could book the medical for the day before. In my case, for the k3, I had to send off a notification of readiness to the embassy which required the date of the medical. It would be soooooo much easier to have medical and interview in Dublin. Dreading going to London, not at all sure about using the underground to get around. Only thing is, my flight is at 7 45 am and the medical appointment isn't until 3 so will have plenty of time. Flight home at 19 45pm, gonna be a long day. They don't make anything easy for us, do they? In fact, I think, they do their best to make life difficult!!!! Have your parents had their medical yet, are they emigrating to the US?

Anne, I was under the impression that the interview would not be scheduled unless the medical was completed from what it says on the embassy website?

"The medical examination must take place before the visa interview. The Embassy will not schedule the interview until they have received the results of the medical examination".

My parents are indeed immigrating to the US. They haven't done their medical just yet as they don't want their 6 month count down to start until April. They have 2 cats they are bringing with them and they will need to wait until the end of summer/start of fall before they can bring them, otherwise the airline won't let them fly with the heat.

I hate the tube system in London. It is so busy and people are just so rude, pushing and shoving to get places. They truly don't make anything easy. My parents were given Dublin case numbers by accident and we all thought oh great they would be saving a fortune, but we found out that it was a mistake and so they were given new London case numbers. Such a pain!

Hopefully you will have a painless experience in London. At least you have plenty of time to get places with your flights being spaced out :)

Good Luck with the Senator's office. I have been working with mine Since September. They only have a liaison to work with. And they still only give out vague info. I asked what the A-number is today and I was told I am not allowed to know that... Really??? I am not allowed to know information about my case? its a bunch of #######

Yeah. As if..... I would be out of my tree right now!! What the h3ll is going on. The only thing you can do right now is focus on you visit To CR. I haven't seen my hubby in almost a yr. I would give my right arm for just an hr with him. I'm having a bad day too. The NVC process is a huge pain in the a$$. I know it will pay off eventually but it's a bunch of waiting...........even if we get a case complete in a few weeks or whatever, it'll still be 6-8 wks for an interview. Thurs is my bday and 4-1 is our anniversary. I never dreamed we wouldn't be together for that. I can't even imagine not at least being approved by now. I'm so sorry for you!! :( and still praying...........,,
