Will call them tomorrow, maybe I should get my husband to call the NVC too. Don't want to mess things up though. Any thoughts on this etrangais or LoveMyTico?

As soon as they get my petitions, I will beg them to process the I-129F!!!!!!

They send it on their own. K3 only gets a case number and then goes straight to the embassy. I guess they aren't closing them because the i130s are taking forever.

Don't pay any fees for the i130 unless they tell you the k3 was closed. My lawyer told me we don't get to choose. If it gets sent to the embassy and gets processed there then we are good to go. We are at the mercy of the NVC

I already gave my preference in many letters. They don't care

Keep calling for a case number and then track it to the embassy via dhl. There is directions on vj for doing that. Once it gets to the embassy, it goes so fast.

This is what I got from my congressman after I haven't heard anything from him so I decide to re-emailed AGAIN and I got this response.

I just received this from USCIS. We extend the courtesy of 30 days to agencies to respond to our inquiry. Depending on the nature of the inquiry, responses may be received sooner or later.

USCIS records show that your constituent’s I-130 petition was received on April 26, 2013 at the National Benefits Center (NBC) and transferred from the NBC to the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) on November 26, 2013.

At this time your constituent’s case is assigned to an adjudications officer. Although assigned, we cannot predict the date on which the adjudications process may be completed.

If your constituent has not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 30 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update.

I agree... I also got approval next day of sending similar email to assistant director operations...

My talks with congressman offices have not been pleasant....

04/14/2014- emailed Nebraska and scopscata to see what's going on with file due to conflicting info I've gotten and NBC doesn't even show processing I485.
04/14/2014- Got response from scopscata saying will look into email, forward to resolution team.
04/14/2014- I485 updated to "485 was transferred and is now being processed at USCIS office"
04/25/2014- Text message and case update online "testing and interview" stage.
05/06/2014- Text message and case update online with interview date of June 11, 2014.
06/05/2014-Notice sent by NYC acting district director/office that interview date is Aug 21, 2014.....??????????? No change online
06/11/2014 - Interview for AOS. I130 was already attached. Approved and got passport stamped. YAY. Thank God.
06/19/2014 - Case updated online with text and email saying new card mailed.....

06/21/2014-Condtional GC received along with welcome letter.
