I remember the day this tread started. I have not really posted anything here, but i have followed and read through most times, wishing us all quick approval within the six months window. I am not been pessimistic here, but its been nine months and counting since we filedClockWatch2.gif . I have missed my wife soooo much. It hurts so bad sometime to know that i come from a high risk country( Nigeria). but there are many good people in my country. I sincerely pray this wait will come to an end soon in sha Allah. I wish all April filers that have been approved a blessed journey into the future, and i encourage the rest of us that are still waiting to remain patient and continue to pray. God listens to those who call upon him, and when it is time, may it be the best time.

AGREED !!! We are all in this together.

I saw a thread about a K-3 approved and visa in hand 8 days after interview. I -130 was approved also. Beneficiary is from the Philippines. April Filer if I'm not mistaken. It gave me hope when I read that this morning

AGREED !!! We are all in this together.

I would be the happiest if your K3 goes through..... You could easily make up for all the lost time......

Things look bleak at the NVC stage right now.... The weather god's are also not helping either........It's taking 6 weeks just to get a case number, and how much longer it takes from there for a case complete is anyone's guess.....

Your K3 getting approved, could easily be the best thing happening to you, after all that you are going through now.....

All the centers are silent for a couple days. Are they closed or something? I m so depressed! And Monday is off urghhhh!!!!

Just talked to USCIS customer service..

This guy read the notices to me that were supposidly sent on Feb 8th.

They both say that my cases are being held up because of additional security checks

. The K-3 notice said my case is with an adjudicator but is waiting for additional security checks. That is all they are waiting on..

So my thoughts are.... since my previous marriage won't come up in any US FBI check because I wasn't married in the US. They have to contact the other country and get verification that I am divorced blah blah blah. So I guess they are waiting for that info to come back. I could have provided the online registry information and they could have just checked that way. UGHHHHHH

Even though my divorce papers were already in the file ( translated copy and original)

I guess there is no telling how long it will take to get that information back since Snail Mail takes forever and a day from Costa Rica. My sister in Law sent me something snail mail and it took almost 2 months to get to me.
