Just wanted to let everyone know that these petitions can make a difference if everyone takes a few minutes to get them out there. I found this petition 2 days ago and they had only 225 signatures. I started posting the link in my groups on here and posted it on my Facebook page and asked my family and friends to share the link to the petition. In 2 days the petition has gone from 225 signatures to 375. That's just in 2 days. This petition got started over a month ago and had only gotten 225 signatures. There have been 150 new signatures in the last 2 days. So again, I encourage everyone to share this link on their personal social media and get the word out. Something has to be done, even it change doesn't happen before my husband gets here, I'd like to think maybe I helped others down the road.

http://www.change.org/petitions/president-obama-uscis-dhs-decrease-wait-time-for-i-130-petition-for-alien-relative

I posted this on the VJ Facebook page a few days ago and I saw many people re-post it everywhere. I already signed it.. I hope everyone else signs it too. I'm not sure how this petition gets forwarded to the people who will actually make the change....but its worth a try !!

Under the immigration reform bill that is up or it might have been voted down.. Not sure because haven't did much research on it to be honest.. It talks about making spouse visa faster and spouse immediately living in US but it also talks about removing some visas where they are not available any more.. I'm kinda in the dark on this because I haven't did research

Out of topic:

I just had a embarrassing moment!! So I'm doing a long travel for work.. I think ohh even though it is nasty I will eat at McDonalds to speed up time for trip.. Up to the speaker (place order).. First window (pay).. By the time I get to the second window I'm in la la land not thinking or paying attention.. Lady hands me food and I tell her this order isn't mine!! She gets confused talks to some people.. Then I realize.. She has already given me my food!!! I was just sitting there collecting everyone else's food behind me in line.. Haha

Finished for now!!

It is my understanding that not all cases are getting transferred to the local offices. Twice I was told by USCIS that they don't automatically get transferred. My case has been at the NBC for 3.5 months. I don't think it is going to get transferred. I wish they would hurry up and open the other facility and just start processing cases... This wait is just ridiculousprotest6wz.gifClockWatch2.gifheadbonk.gif

All knowledge I have on my case being transfered...

End of Feb.. Teir 1 said cases are transfered to you local office for adjustments

Middle of March.. Info pass at local office said my case would only be transferred if have they have questions (RFE) or need to interview me

Middle of March.. Teir 1 (didn't ask)

End of March filed I-130

April 10th.. Teir 1 service request because I put wrong year I was born on my I-130 and correcting it (didn't ask about transfered)

End of June.. Teir 1 my case will not be transfered

This week.. Teir 1 my case will not be transfered

This week.. Teir 2 my case will not be transfered unless they want interview

Soo.. I am beginning to think my case will not be transferred and if it does then I need to be ready for a interview.. Haha

That is a fancy little table, but it definitely appears to me that they could double their workers and still be behind schedule :P Can we all start working like these people? I would love to get a report to do in the office, know its a 15 minute job and let it sit around for 6 months :D

Haha @ Scolozy.. I looked for a job opening but couldn't find one!!

Sashy welcome aboard in the waiting room with us all.. At least being in Canada, both of you have the ability to see each other little more easily.. So there is some positives.. Keep your head up and smile.. When it is over we all will be so thankful

At the rate the files are being processed, I took Christmas right out off the table. I would think maybe an interview... but NVC is taking a long time too

Yea I kinda wish we would be transferred to the Philadelphia office, but it appears to me the philadelphia office is on par with the NVC office for processing times. I am still trying to stay optimistic that christmas could happen. I want to believe these past two months they pushed heavily on the fiancee visas and they will bounce over for a huge push in the spouse visas now. I mean looking at igors list it appears like 10-20 k-1s get done each day and maybe 1 cr/ir gets done, that pace can't stay that way....can it? :-P
