I was at CSC and so for me it took 3 days to get the RFE letter in mail

I think about that too. I would hope the Senator's office wouldn't play along if they were trying to hide it.

I'm sorry, I just don't buy the background check thing ever since you got the same response.

just saw a post of a guy who got an RFE... july filer... only knew his wife a week before he married her... the RFEis for more proof of a real relationship.

i have been with my hsuband for 4 years... I have oodles of proof of a TRUE relationship.. 5 flights in 2013 & 4 flights in 2012 to visit him.. phone records, gifts sent, pictures of us together here and over there, and so much more... and I get stuck in a background check... AND I FILED IN APRIL.....UGHHHH

I just printed out all the transfer spreadsheets to take to my congressman's office. I am so sick at looking at the July approvals. I want to throw up.

I used to live in Buffalo, so my friend's mom just sent me this article from the Buffalo News by way of the New York Times. At least SOMEONE is writing about it! Don't know if you all have seen this or not, but thought I would share. I'm really sorry that you are all still waiting. Its absolutely unacceptable.

OK MONDAY AGAIN

Yes DVMAN, the July approvals are disgusting... I don't know how much the spreadsheets will help... But go for it !! Let us know. The USCIS has covered their Butts by saying our files are stuck in background checks and actually I was told that CANNOT be expedited. That won't make me stop inquiring but it gave them something to fall back on.

I don't know why there are some of us still left. Only that they have decided to start approving July and August to make themselves look good to the public. Maybe all the attention is causing them to manipulate the numbers even more instead of just getting the backlog taken care of in ORDER.

If my lawyer EVER calls me back, I will mention the spreadsheets but I know the answer is always...." You can't compare everyone. Everyone has a different situation"" well, Yes I can and I will.

I have been so depressed lately. Yesterday was my 11 month anniversay. Wednesday will be 10 months since my NOA1. This is so sad. It is very hard to get up everyday and goto work.

I have an infopass appointment in an hour abt my case. I am sick of the false info given by USCIS employees. My case according to the senator's office was assigned to an officer the first week of January. Why am I still waiting when May, June, July are already getting approved. How different could my case be with regards to the May, June, July filers? If it's background check holding my case - I wonder why it would take them this long when I have a secret security clearance.

From the NY Times article: "After Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio said on Thursday that the House was not likely to act on an immigration overhaul this year, immigrant advocates are turning up their pressure on Mr. Obama to expand the deferral program to include many more of the 11.7 million immigrants in the country illegally."

I seriously hope Obama does not give into this immigrant advocates push to expand the program. Illegals should have to go back home and get in here like every other person who is doing it legally. This nonsense has affected me and my spouse and I am not in support of it.

I agree with you !! Please post after your appt. I am so interested to hear what they have to say. I suspect all the later approvals are due to the USCIS just trying to even out the numbers so they can post 5 months again. That doesn't help us though. I am furious about this whole process.

I would love to go on an info pass appt but when I go to try and schedule one in Philly, it doesn't give me any options. Last time I checked it was not taking appts for case status. I have to wait to hear from my lawyer. Maybe I can get him to do it. ( not holding my breath)

It is another week and Monday again. Let see who else gets approval beside lovemytico,anuspras and me. This week three of us has to get approval .
