Today was my 62nd or 63rd day since transfer to Nebraska. I called USCIS first and I told them that I got this letter in the mail saying 60 days I should get some update or something. Lady on the phone said "we are processing March cases right now." I told her I saw the same information on the USCIS site and it says as of November 30th USCIS was processing March cases and the information I am being given is over 2 1/2 months old. She said "that's all the information I have sir." Then I went on and said why would USCIS send me a letter saying I should get something in 60 days if they are working on March cases. She said "I don't know sir." Wow such great answers, answered all my questions. ranting33va.gif I asked if I could talk to a tier 2 she said they don't take calls at this time, which I found out was a lie later on. She did end up opening a service request for me and routed it to the Nebraska center. I also called the congressman's office but the lady there seemed like she was defending USCIS pretty much telling me that the lady I spoke with at USCIS was giving me the right information. I tried to explain to her the information I was given was wrong, but it seemed like she didn't care for what I had to say. She did call USCIS and they told her that the file has been assigned to an officer and to wait 30 more days on top of the 9 months I have already waited. I'm just going keep praying for myself and everyone who is still waiting, hopefully we hear something soon and if I don't hear anything in the next 30 days, I'll go on a visit to my congressman's office and have a face to face conversation with the person who handles immigration stuff. Seems like on the phone they don't want to listen, just blow you off, maybe face to face will be more effective.

I live in New England, where 3"-5" is normal winter and doesn't merit shutting everything down. I'm sure Nebraska is pretty similar. Don't lose hope yet! Office closures are always posted on uscis.gov, so keep an eye out and hopefully nothing will be affected.

Boston has 6"-10" in the forecast tomorrow, and I am most definitely still expected at work... sadly laughing.gif

had a conversation with USCIS today. Apparently, my files are in two locations. My I130 is at TSC but despite the transfer email, apparently my k3 is in Missouri and was told TSC is probably waiting to join them. That's crazy. I emailed TSC director and assistant director this morning. USCIS agent on the phone said my I30 was touched this morning. So maybe the email prompted them to check. I am also going to contact two more congressman about my case...its infuriating!
