spoke to my congress and he told me they are trying to locate my file? They received my rfe 12/17 and it for my marriage certificate so nothing major for them to take this long...

Do we think that filing an I129F/K3 slows down the process?

It seems it may have slowed mine down just a little, as I didn't get my transfer at the same time as others around me were transferred, going by their I-130 PD date. My cases transferred later, at the time that others with an I-130 PD that fit my I-129F PD date instead. So perhaps when they received the I-129F, they pulled my first petition out of it's slot/box and placed both of those into a different box which had the later date.

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

Yup I in some box somewhere under some desk in some dark dingy storage room that's key was reported lost shortly after my file got there....

Well they party all day long and then when they are really exhausted, sit at their desk, pretending they are working overtime, collect overtime...but we know they are all watching Netflix. See how overworked they are....well I hope they find some money to get the key to the storage room that has been forgotten about cause that storage room has some long lost files that may become food for mice soon and just disappear....

I'm sure that they're working at some point, otherwise nothing would get done. And CSC has been flying through the majority of petitions. But that Netflix thing threw me for a loop a few months ago when it came out. Maybe CSC is doing that lean and lite thing that they were talking about doing for the DACA applications? Who really knows what's going on there? Maybe you'll get an answer just at 60 days? I honestly don't know. It sucks that you're still waiting though.l :(
