This is the reply I got for my SR placed on seventh of january from NSC.

The status of this service request is:

You or your representative contacted USCIS concerning I-130 petition for Alien Relative to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Your petition/application is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition/application.

What You Can Do

Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

It seems a jock to me. What a waisted of time and resources to tell me to check "Online Services" and to thank me for my continued patience. This is another way to say don't bother us in the future.

Is it true that tier 2's only accept calls at certain times of the day. I called in and asked if I could speak with a tier 2 and the lady told me that they don't accept calls at that particular time. I called them 12:30pm eastern

No it is not, call again and tell them you don't know where you file is transferred, and you want to know exactly where. I am sure they will transfer you since they don't have that type of information in front of them. I am sure they are pounded with calls today. That is why she or he is trying to get rid of people by saying anything.

I am trying to stay positive and hold my nerves, by lying to myself and saying every week, this is my week. I hope this week is ours, all March and April who are still waiting patiently.

could be good news however you have to read between the lines..... "being prepared" another way of saying in process.

If you call tier 2, ask them if they can see anything about your case. Ask if everything is complete. I was told Friday that the background check has not been checked off in my case.... That is a bit frustrating to me as they have had almost 10 months to do a background check. And neither one of us have anything .. We are both pretty boring people..
