sounds like a good idea....this would be really helpful for the people whose cases are on hold..... If we have a reasonable sample size, we could derive some sought of understanding, and analyze if USCIS has a specific pattern or procedure in handling such petitions........

As friendly usa, has suggested in the march thread we could combine the cases on hold from the feb, march and april sheets in a new sheet with an additional column where previous marriage & divorce or other circumstances could be entered by the concerned members....

I'd like to know too...I'd add mine too cause I'm pending and unsure why.

Sign the petition to ask President Obama to give U.S. Citizens I-130 and I-129 proper priority.

Link:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/give-us-citizen-i-130-i-129f-petitions-proper-priority/FxWZpJFF

The petition reads as follows:

"We petition the Obama administration to:

Give US Citizen I-130 & I-129F Petitions Proper Priority

Currently, US citizens are waiting in excess of 10 months for their I-130 and I-129F petitions to be adjudicated, due to a backlog of over 400,000 cases. Asking the spouses, parents, and children of aliens to wait to see their loved ones, while illegal immigrants are quickly granted legal status, is unacceptable and unlawful, as the Immigration and Naturalization Act mandates US authorities to give first priority to the immediate family members of US citizens.

The USCIS must give priority to the applications for legal entry to the spouses, children, and fiance(e)s of US citizens. The USCIS must dictate that each month it will adjudicate a certain percentage of US citizen relative and fiance(e) petitions, as this is the priority which the law demands these petitioners be given."

YEP... HAPPY MONDAY EVERYONE...

I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and we are in the middle of a big snow storm. I attemped to drive to work at 6:10 am but had to turn around. I was sliding through stops signs and I didn't even get out of my little town. Wasn't worth an hour drive to work just to turn around and come home .

I HOPE TEXAS IS SUNNY AND CLEAR TODAY SO ALL USCIS EMPLOYEES MAKE IT TO WORK.

I have to share something funny my husband said last night. He sneezed while we were talking and I mentioned that my son, my cat and I have been sneezing all day. He then said that means something good is going to happen. He said he can feel it... our approval is coming this week. So I agreed to be positive too. SO this is supposed to be our week.... according to all the sneezing we were doing yesterday !! LOL LOL LOL LOL ya gotta find humor somewhere. rofl.giftongue.pngyes.gifwhistling.gif

Well I will sneeze some for you too...just for good luck. I think I fighting something :(

Can I ask, when you send emails to service centers, do you get any response, even automated? My husband sent one Jan 11, and got automated response. Sent another one on Friday but got no response. I wonder it's that someone actually read the email this time....

Good Luck today. I hope today is your LUCKY day...then you have to go play lotto too.

Good Luck and keep us updated on how it turns out for you calling them. When hubby sent email on Jan 11, he got automated response right away. He sent another email on Friday but we haven't gotten an automated response...this time we stressed on how we are close to 60 days at this point and haven't heard anything....so I am just trying to find hope that maybe someone actually read the email this time and as such no automated response...well most likely....a glitch in their system and it got lost in cyber space...actually I can bet that's what it is :(

WELL WELL WELL, the Service request numbers did change and what BULLSHIT it truely is.... Way to go USCIS for trying to find ways to push usall out of the way to buy yourself some time. AS IF I HAVEN'T WAITED LONG ENOUGH TO GET A LOUSY APPROVAL ONLY TO WAIT SOME MORE BECAUSE ILLEGALS ARE SOOOO EFFING IMPORTANT !!!!

"these service requests were filed on Jan 31st. We have 30 days to answer them" REALLY??? #######?? they were incorrectly filed by your frigging employees... AND I still have to wait ANOTHER 30 days for someone to press a button and send me a generic email saying my case is PENDING????? OMG how many people do you think end up abandoning this process due to pure frustration???

OMG how many people do you think end up abandoning this process due to pure frustration???

And ... just to brighten my day just a little bit more....

The Allentown office for Senator Toomey is not answering their phones. Probably due to the snow . I left a message in their general mailbox but I would bet my next paycheck that she won't call me back. I'm about to call the congressional office a few towns over... ( probably closed also due to heavy snow storm today)

OMG I'm so sick of this. It makes my blood boil
