My 60 days will be up this weekend. I know they don't work weekends so I will be past the 60 days. I was going to call the 800 number but I felt they will give me that we are processing march excuse so I used the e-request option on the USCIS website and submitted a request. I had 2 options to select from

  • Typographical error on a notice you received
  • Non-Delivery of ASC Appointment Notice

I chose the typographical error. Technically it is a typographical error if you get a notice saying you will receive a decision or update in 60 days and don't right? wink.png After I submitted it, it gave a request number and told me to wait 30 days. We'll see what happens.

I am seriously thinking that we need to be emailing every one we can get the emails of, and calling/faxing every day until they do something about it. We have the weekend now, perhaps we should take the time to write a few letters regarding the situation. Oh, and I seriously am going to go through Judicial Watch's FOIA releases and pull every single name mentioned in those documents. I'll try to have that list up late tonight.

OK, here is my TIER 2 entertainment for tonight

Spoke to tier 2 for 30 minutes

he was super nice

told me my files were at the NBC at first.. I was like EXCUSE ME??? I was told they are at TSC and I have a transfer notice... He says OH HOLD ON let me look at the notes. OK, yea, you're right. Both at TSC... The problem with the service requests is that they were sent to the NBC not TSC. Possibly the reason you didn't get a response ( not sure I believe him) so he apologized for that and said " let me fix this " so he sent them to TSC while I was on the phone. So then I asked if he could give me anything good... he said well, your background check is not checked off as complete. I won't ask you if you have any weird circumstnaces..... I said , . THis is the second time I am petitioning and my divorce took forever in Costa Rica because I don't speak spanish and I was swindled by an attorney over there. I had to hire another attorney to finish it. He said that could be the reason.. ( more than likely) but he said its not criminal... its just not checked off as complete but someone is working on your file.

He thanked me for being patient with him. . I told him the wait is ridiculous. He said people don't understand why there is a backlog. I said I KNOW WHY ! ! ! ! .. its because of the Daca and provisional waivers. They pushed the USC aside and processed the illegals. Then he paused for a minute and then asked me.. DO YOU WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT? I said no, I'm just well informed and I have nothing else to do while I wait for my papers but read. And this is the second time I am filing. He said he wasn't allowed to talk about it but I told him I could tell by his tone that he agrees with me. He said YUP

So all in all, I had a nice conversation. But I find it odd that some officers tell you they don't have access to that info. Others throw out info like its nothing. I don't know what to believe since everything has been a lie up til now. I have a feeling they send them to the wrong service center on purpose. And of course the rep at the senator's office was off today so I couldn't get anything from her.

So the tier 2 told me to call back next week. and he said they encourage people to email the service centers FOR SURE. I told him they got an email from me everyday this week.. but now that I think about it... the service request numbers were directed to the NBC ( if what he said was true) possibly why these idiots can't get back to me So all in all, it seems service requests are useless. They assign them to an officer so that officer can push a button and send out a letter that says your file is in process..... All this wasted money for all these useless steps.... UGHHHHHHHHHHH

Oh he also said, " I don't know what forums your read, but some info is correct and other info is not complete" He said he reads some of them. that is when he said people have no idea why there is a backlog

He said he feels bad for all the callers. He wishes he could help everyone. We even had a converstation about the reasons people give him for more information...

I miss my spouse so bad, I'm running out of money he said he hears them all.

So that was my afternoon entertainment.

The numbers that they're showing now would reflect the number of cases the service center had 2 months ago. The I130's at the VSC that were being transferred were F2A's, not regular IR1/CR1 cases. And they aren't transferring all the DACA cases to Nebraska. Just some of them. I'll go look up what stats I can find on it.

I'm in the worst frame of mind today.... Never felt so bad in the last 9 months of waiting.... I just couldn't digest the May end approvals coming from Nebraska... I'm human after all.... After 9 months of waiting, all I have is a sense of utter bitterness, that I have lost 270 precious days of my married life, dealing with the most incompetent and inhuman government organization in the US.... A real disgrace to this great nation..... I have started giving up..... Just can't help it..... Sorry for sounding so negative!!!

*BIG HUGS* I know. Right in that 8-9 month mark, I had a period of being very, very down. The best thing I can tell you is try to ride it out, and then pick yourself up and start fighting again. I know it's not much of a consolation. I really do. I had a few days of pretty much total breakdown. But after I did that, I got angry. Really angry. And that gave me the motivation for continuing.

I'm not going to tell you it gets better. It doesn't. But after I got my approval letter, it was like a giant weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I sincerely hope that you can feel that relief soon.

did your service request number end in TSC? Mine did..now i wonder if i need to call back to be sure they went to the right place.Honestly, it all seems pretty hopeless...The only thing they can do is hire more people to process the files. Did the NYT article get published yet?

I'm in the worst frame of mind today.... Never felt so bad in the last 9 months of waiting.... I just couldn't digest the May end approvals coming from Nebraska... I'm human after all.... After 9 months of waiting, all I have is a sense of utter bitterness, that I have lost 270 precious days of my married life, dealing with the most incompetent and inhuman government organization in the US.... A real disgrace to this great nation..... I have started giving up..... Just can't help it..... Sorry for sounding so negative!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I was transferred the same time as you to Nebraska also and my priority date is 1 day before yours. Haven't heard anything yet. These last 9 months have been really hard. The government needs to get their priorities straight. We are waiting 9+ months for an approval and they are worried about whether or not they should deport Justin Bieber.
