I have researched badly where I read the requirements when I filed my 1-130, and I remember seen before the petitioner and beneficiary birth certificate and translated should be filed together with forms i-130 and g-325a. I'm not paying any attorney to do my case, I'm doing everything by myself. Now that I'm looking for that instructions, I cannot find them nowhere.....

I'm a little bit confused now because I did turned in my wife and mine certificates when filed the petition because I read it in the uscis instructions. As I read them now, no indication of birth certificate should be sent.

Craaaazy now......

I did not found the requirement on the birth certificate, but I had it on hand for future needs, and had it translated since i got it. Since I had a "Status Request" two days prior to the RFE, I guess I just pissed off some one... They had to get off the chair and looked at my file. I sent the paper and translation the day after I got the paper RFE. I hope that things work faster...

Yeah I'll do that today. I found the flight via skyscanner which routed me to travel2be/travelgenio. Even talked to customer service because I didn't see that they changed my destination airport while searching for the flight. Urgh, yesterday was not my day :( I hope everything is fine with it, it was my last savings.

I know I should have gotton a miles and more or sky miles card years ago :(...soon though. Thanks for your help guys! Good luck to everyone today.

My RFE came the mail and it was for an original copy of our marriage certificate, we only had the temporary one available at the time. I made a photocopy, but does anyone know if its okay if the registrar's signature was on the back? I made a copy of both sides. I just don't want to have problems because they didn't stamp the front :(

The same amount of time? Why is that?

we have to file a waiver after our interview. I was ok with that at first because the processing times are posted at 4 months but apparently those processing times are for the I-601a waivers for the illegals. The I-601 waiver for the spouse who resides outside of the US is processed at NSC Who happens to be only processing July 2013. That is why I pray for the K-3 so I can bypass the entire NVC process and just get to the embassy, have our interview and send off the waiver. It will be the same outcome even if we go with the I-130. We don't care about spending another $1000. to adjust once hes here. We don't care that he won't have a greencard immediately. So much time has been wasted

We had and sent photocopy of an apostille of the marriage certificate too (by Ministry of foreign affairs, our case) , if this apply for your country. This, also, makes the copy of the certificate visible in the gov database servers if u know the number of this apostille.

So i guess Monday will come and there will be no response to our service requests....At that point I am not sure if I will call USCIS back or call my congressman's office again...my stupid lawyer tried to tell me that USCIS said that the congressional inquiries "slow down the process." BS! Its called being accountable. I'm supposed to have a response by tomorrow for my k3. Not holding my breath.
