hello guys my wife sent an email to Nebraska and they answerd after 20 days just see and feel :(

ATTENTION: The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) has a new email address for public inquiries. The new email address is NSCFollowup.NCSC@uscis.dhs.gov. Please use the new email address when submitting your inquiry and/or replying to a response from NSC. Thank you.

Good Afternoon:

Thank you for contacting the Nebraska Service Center National Customer Service Follow Up e-mail account (NSC NCSC). Please except our apology for the delay in responding to your e-mail below.

USCIS records show your constituent’s I-130 petition was transferred from the Missouri Service Center (NBC) on December 3, 2013. The Nebraska Service Center received the petition on December 4, 2013. Processing of I-130 petitions at Nebraska is approximately five months from the date we receive the petition. The constituent’s petition is currently with an officer to be reviewed. They should receive a decision or notice of other action once their case is adjudicated.

If they have not heard anything within two months, please inquire again and we will search to see why their I-130 petition has not been completed. I hope that this information will be of assistance to you. At this time I am closing your inquiry on this matter.

Regards

what a bunch of HORSE HOCKEY. Just something to keep you pacified for a minute or two.

5 minutes ago I asked my senator's office to make another inquiry for both of my cases since the service request is up on Feb 1st ( saturday) This time she was really nice. She told me she hears time and time again about how nasty the customer service people are to the callers. She said its pretty sad. Its an ongoing problem at the USCIS ( ya think?) She said Texas may take a day or two to get her an answer.. So here I wait AGAIN !!!! GRRRRRRRRR

my service request is due Saturday too

I contacted my Senators office today and she put in another inquiry. She said if they don't come back with " within one week" she will put in an expedite. She said Texas takes a few days to respond. Also, today was the second day I sent an email to TSC. My 60 days is at 62 days today. Senators office will also mention we want the K3.

I guess we'll see. I'm about to book a flight because I miss my husband so much. If I don't get an approval by next week, I'll take a 4 day trip to see his face. I can't take it anymore

she told me that she can expedite due to them giving a specific timeframe. She said she has done it before. We'll see. Just because she tries to expedite doesn't mean USCIS will. Its all a roll of the dice. I'm tired of rolling and getting nothing

hello my wife sent an email to NSC

I am writing in regards to my case that is still in initial review. It has been almost a year and I want to know what is going on with my case. I am not happy that I have not received any notification and I am not contacted with news about anything. It has been almost one year and I can not be with my husband, I am here by myself and he is in pakistan. I must have knee surgery and I need my husband with me. I will not be able to work, and I need someone to take care of me while I am recovering.

I know that more information on my case will be required, as I did not send in my financial support documents. I make well over the required ammount and he will not become a burden on this country. We just want to live like a normal husband and wife, together.

I am extremely fustrated at the length of time this is taking. When I cal I am not told anything, just the usual things that I can see on the web site. If this is going to take any longer, I am going to start calling the media and making as much of a fuss about this as I can

Interview Date is november 18, 2014 :dancing: :goofy:

Approval from NSC today.

Here is the data:

Filed from Japan on April 7 2013

Priority Date April 15 2013

Transfer to NSC Jan 6 2014

Approved I-130 Jan 28 2014

Some additional data:

In December I sent a notice informing USCIS of a change of address from Japan to Canada, as well as a change in my wife's last name.

I received confirmation of that move on December 27, 2013.

I received confirmation of the change of my wife's last name on Jan 27, 2014. (One day prior to I-130 approval.)

Looking at some of the spreadsheets, we were transferred to the NSC significantly later than most of the April filers. (Most were transferred in November or early December, while we were not transferred until January.) I am not sure why we were an outlier.

Well, generally, you won't hear anything from the USCIS unless they need something or you are approved. They don't hand out updates. You have to call and bypass the first operator and talk to the tier 2 person. And even they aren't very helpful. Most are in a bad mood and don't offer anything.

You don't have to send financial info until you are approved and are sent to the NVC.

We all want to live a normal life. This system is broken. We are all forced to wait.

hello guys my wife sent an email to Nebraska and they answerd after 20 days just see and feel sad.png

Regards

USCIS Nebraska Service Center

EX0031

I believe that I posted what my response would be to this email. I'll see if I can find it again for you.

Here is how you should respond:

Dear Nebraska Service Center,

According to the press release from the USCIS on October 21, 2013.

"USCIS recently began transferring some casework from the National Benefits Center to the Nebraska, Texas and California Service Centers to balance overall operational workload. The affected casework includes the following form:

Effect on Customers

If your case was transferred, USCIS will send you a notice listing the transfer date and where your case will be processed. Your original receipt number will not change and this will not further delay the processing of your case."

This can be found at: http://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/workload-transfer-national-benefits-center-service-centers

What you are telling me is that the press release that I got, as well as the supplemental letter stating my case would be processed within 60 days were all lies? This certainly constitutes a further delay in my case, if I'm expected to wait a further 5 months. 5 months is the target processing time of the USCIS for a stand-alone I130 case for a spouse. You are telling me that I'm actually expected to wait close to 15 months for you to process my case? The National Average processing time is now 8.9 months, which I am past, and the Processing date at your service center is now March 20. My priority date is March 19. I am therefore outside of normal processing times. You have had my case for 310 days. If my case needed additional processing, you have already had ample time to complete it.

Claiming that my case is under extended review because you have failed to process it in the 10 months you as an agency have had it is unconscionable. I can see in my case update that my case has not even been looked at since ____________. I will be contacting my Congressman and Senators and the Ombudsman, as well as Service Center HQ regarding this. And I will continue to escalate this matter as necessary until you process my case, as you should have done months ago.

I hope that you understand my position on this matter. This is my Husband/Wife and our future life together. You must understand that any further delays are entirely unacceptable, and I will do whatever I have to do to get you to finish processing my case. My Husband/Wife is important. Our lives are important. And I will continue to fight for that.

Sincerely,
