At NSC, got an RFE today sad.png I guess at least someone touched the file. Not sure what its about, hopefully something that is easily obtained. I'm thinking it might be for the original marriage certificate, at the time we filed we only had a temporary copy. I have the certificate now though, so it would be an easy fix. *prays*

Sorry about the RFE... However wish it's something that you can instantly provide.... On a positive note your RFE proves that finally NSC has reached the end of April filers because we had another April 29th approval today from Nebraska... I am an April 30 filer.... Praying that I hear something from then soon.......

Thank you for the well wishing :) I hope it is something easy too. And I'm glad that they have finally gotten to us! I just hope that having an RFE doesn't push me to the back again :(

You don't do interview and medical at the NVC stage. The interview is after the NVC stage. It all depends on the embassy when your interview s scheduled. Some are fast, some are slow as molasses.

Don't get upset about the 180 day ####### they hand out. The tier 2 officer who put in my service request told me they have to say something general. Its not for everybody and they know that. The new filers get the same ####### ...... So don't worry about that.

Also,I get the feeling they are not responding to the 60 day notice we got when our files were transferred.

I would say to just call... act so confused. Tell them you go this 60 day notice but now you are being told 180 days. Which is it? And tell them you were told your file was assigned to an officer.. so how could it take 180 more days? They will transfer you to tier 2... Then ask them what the hell is going on with your file. That is how I got my service request for my I-130 on the 17th. I'm not stupid. I know whats going on, but they don't need to know that. My file was assigned to someone on Dec 30th but that officer must be on long term disability or something.. LOL

Hopefully we all will be approved soon !

Hang in there everyone.

We were approved today!

It's been 10 months.

And since our transfer to the NSC, it's been 63 days.

The NSC approvals are seeming formulaic now.

Married 2013

Rcvd by USCIS: 4/23/13

NOA 1: 4/24/13

Transfer to NSC: 11/27/13

NOA 2: 1/27/14

File sent to NVC: 1/27/14

Does anyone know how long to expect the NVC to process papers?

Congrats my Friend..... Follow this thread. Take a look of the first two posts because they have a lot of useful information and FAQ's. To see how long it's going to take, it varies from county. Look for Australian members and take an estimate.

Remember, some of them let the things go their time, Be proactive and make sure you get all the documents you need at this process.

Good luck.....

NOTE: We move the thread month to month, so soon, you will start the NVC Feb fillers...(example)

To the ones still waiting for approval, it sucks....but, I hope you get all your approval soon....Praying...

Grr, so frustrating, a large number of applications above ours (ours ends in a "6" and applications after us #7,8,9, and the 0) have all been accepted and approved already. Any idea on if there is any logic to where apps were sent to that or are those randomized too? While we were sent to the NSC could the ones above us have been sent to CSC?

Met on an abroad job assignment in Winter 2010
