SNIKWAD of course I'm still here. I was able to put in a service request in for my I-130 last Friday and I also put one in for my K-3 the week before but as you can see.. I'm still here with no news to offer. The I-130 service request was my plea for them to just approve my K-3. That is what we prefer. I want to bypass the NVC if at all possible.

VJ will the second place I scream for joy when that approval comes.. I promise

My hubby is first ! of course.

You're almost nearing 60 days now. It's gonna come soon hopefully!

It needs to be done by a certified translator I believe.

No, translations can be done by anyone fluent in said language and English. The person doing the translating only needs to sign an attestation statement that the translation is accurate and the person is competent to translate.

Better than the VSC, which only did 919 I-130 in November (while approving over 10,000 I-824's for DACA's!!!!!).

Tier 1 agents are simply ...... Useless. A robot or an automated system can do a better job. It's been 9 months plus for my cases and what I don't understand is that how can May, June or even July filers are getting approved when my files are aitting right there on the table ?????? And they are like .... " well every case is different". It's like talking to Spongebob or Patrick !!!

Hello all my fellow vj members,am a April 8 pd,i was email this after that we have been approve,i was transfered to NSC On the 15th of November 2013 and I was email to day 23th of January 2014,we only sent a copy of our marriage certificate, no pictures, phone log nothing and we did t get any RFE at all, bcos for a moment I was scared that we did t send in enough evidence,but it all work out good,we were approve this afternoon,thank you everyone on vj,you guys realy helped me metal y go through this,and my prayers still goes out for everyone that is still waiting hang on,you all will b approve too very soon

I just get a text message on my case update and was referred to check the case update online. Below is what is showing on the USCIS website and the case status is still saying initial preview. Can somebody please tell me what this means.

On January 23, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
