I think I'll start keeping a log of everyone I speak to when I call USCIS. To include name and agent number. When I have called in the past I have always demanded to speak with a Tier 2 and I have always gotten transfered even though sometimes they dont want to. Hope we get our approvals soon otherwise it wont be a good time at the call center lol. So far I've been patient but now its almost time to start raising a little hell.

Hi Kaylara. Did you by any chance get time to call Senator Booker's office? Also just wondering how can we by pass tier 1 representatives ..... I mean if they dont transfer our calls to tier 2, we are pretty much stuck with whatever they are saying. I mean I spoke to Tier 1 on the 31st and she was nice enough to take down my information and give ma reference number but then I really dont know how much is that going to help my cause.

Didn't get through to Bookers office, but things got crazy today. (Ah, life with small children.) If they don't want to transfer them, you have to insist. Or act so confused by the information that you're getting that they have no idea how to answer the questions you're asking. The last time I got a tier 2, I quoted all of the possible processing times, and asked them which one was correct.

(Oh yeah? Even with the letter that I got saying that it would be 60 days, and the message I just heard that said 180 days? But then the processing average on the dashboard says 8.7 months, and I'm at 9 1/2 months. And the date in the system is February 13, 2013, but that's not even close to 8.7 months. Which one is it? What is my actual Priority date? The transfer notice didn't have one listed, but had the date of March 21, 2013 which is one day later. What is my actual priority date? Are you sure? Why does it say March 21 then? Can you confirm that my file is actually physically at the service center, because I'm concerned that it's been lost. I know several people who filed after me and were transferred there after me, who aren't expedites and aren't from the Philippines have already gotten either an RFE or approval on their cases. I know that you process in a first in first out kind of way, so I am honestly concerned that my case file has been lost or sent somewhere else.) The CSR's always sound so relieved to pass me onto a tier 2.

Not that that was always the case. When I first started calling at about the 6 month mark, I had a few who refused to transfer me. After that, the absolute confusion/hard questions route seemed to get me transferred really fast.

I've been doing that since I started calling. I have a note book filled with dates/times/phone numbers and notes on the conversation. Except for that last tier 2, because I couldn't understand what he said his name was, nor what his agent number was, and after the conversation started, I could barely get a word in edgewise.

On page 200, someone had posted contact information for service centers, including phone numbers. I tried calling all those numbers and they seemed to be direct lines for the service center directors. I will not waste my time calling USCIS NCSC tier-2 once my 60-day deadline hits in 12 days; the NSC director will hear from me directly.

I was checking some timelines and on page 1, I came across "burnabrenna" timeline who petitioned April 02 - about the same date as mine; the spouse entered US 11/29/13. How fair is it to the rest of us who are still waiting? What kind of unaligned stupid process is this? To make matter worst, USCIS has been approving petitions filed after ours from May, June,...

Congressmen offices are not worth more than tier-2. I have decided not to waste my time with them either. Politicians are a bunch of dirty, no good individuals. USCIS keeps telling my senator's office the same sh*t on every inquiry and I don't see how the senator's office can't notice that to note USCIS ineffectiveness and inability to process petitions as they should. I would think that the senator's office should be raising hell, but no, nothing is done because it doesn't affect them personally.

I am waiting for the next elections to help campaign against any bureaucrat who failed to actively help me through this mess. Congressmen are supposed to be there to assist constituents.

I suggest to all those whose 60-day is soon near to check page 200, post # 2993 and call the number posted that will connect you with the director of service center where your file is. I am sure after many calls, the line will probably be blocked or disconnected; hopefully the calls will drive them to act on our petitions. Tier-2 are USELESS ( One told me in November, my file had been assigned to someone and that I should hear something by Christmas. Christmas has come and gone - NOTHING).

Today marks 9 fu*k*ng straight months for me.

On the inquiry from my senator's office that told me I was transferred to the TSC, it said all further inquiries need to be direct towards them from now on... SO I wonder if calling the tier 2 idiots is even worth it.

A few posts back I posted the contact info for all the service centers. I would send an email directly to the service center asking for status. Include Case nmber and both names. I sent an email a few days back and I revceived an automated repsonse right away.. If I don't hear anything next weem, I will send another email and ask for another inquiry. I'll start telling each contact that that other contact told me some BS and I'll ask confused.

I wonder if it has something to do with the region where you live and how they decide to process the files? I am from Philadelphia.. Alot of Marchies are from NJ and NY. Is that just a coincidence?

well, this is a new one. I haven't heard of anybody getting transferred back. Hopefully its another glitch in the system. Maybe someone was working on your case and they pressed the wrong button. Call your senators office and explain what happened. Tell them this in UNACCEPTABLE and you would like an explanation. I made an inquiry through my senators office early Monday morning and by 11:30 am I had a response. They have to inquire directly to the TSC . I hope you get answers. This is nuts !!

was your friend transferred to Texas or to California? CSC is going through them so fast. its really not fair.

I'm happy for her but very upset with this darn process...I'm still in DR with my husband I got so excited when u saw the email and my app update and wanted to cry when I saw their stupid second transfer update

I will be contacting the white house if I have to abd the news and whatever...I thought they had made it easier for service members and veterans...I am a 100% disabled veteran with ptsd and this is making it worst. I am not hating on anyone but it makes me mad I spent 12 years serving this country and paying taxes and can't get my petition approved but I know someone who has never even worked and gets it right aaway
