Yeh, I guess I will shoot off another email to ask the specific questions. The last touch of mine was 3 DEC. Is that what yours says when logging in ti the USCIS acct site? Maybe that's what they conside assigned. lol Also I just called to hear the good old recording, which stated I'm going through the standard processing, blah...blah, blah... and of course the blurb at the end that says please don't request further information until 180 days after the transfer. ugh!!!

Mine says Dec 2nd for the K-3 and Dec 3rd for the I-130. I think those are the dates that TSC received them. They did something with my case the day before it was transferred, but nothing since the transfer until today. Who knows how long its been on someone's desk.

I hope we all get approved before the next Holiday on January 20th LOL

I don't even call that recorded ####### anymore. it depresses me.

I must say that I really feel for all who are without their loved ones with them during this holiday season. I am lucky in that my wife is here with me until the 12th of January. She made it in on 13 December POE Seattle, with no problems whatsoever. But it is getting very expensive flying one way or another along with using all of our valuable vacation time to see each other. I visit her in April again for her birthday.

Yup, IT SUX.

I have to save money and vacation time for his interview. I was thinking to go vist again at the end of Feb or beginning of March anyway. If we get approved soon, that will give time for the NVC. Glad I didn't buy a ticket yet.

By the way, I saw a news report about buying airline tickets. The airlines ask for your personal info before you search because they are monitoring your activity. Ever look for flights one minute and go back 20 minutes later and it is $30 more? its because they are monitoring your searches. The news person said to search on one computer and buy the ticket on another. Flights do get really expensive.

I can certainly see that with the airlines. That's a good idea. I will search and buy on different computers in the future. Thanks for the info! ;-)

I haven't been watching March today. You know how sometimes the approvals come through at night. Almost like they are put in a Queue to be delivered after hours.... MAYBE something will come tonight. There is still tomorrow. I'm guessing whoever took off before Christmas over there has to work the skeleton crew this week.

TSC is an hour behind me.

The official holiday is the 1st. Who knows if they are closed tomorrow. I would love them to pick up my file and approve it today... ha ha wouldn't we all?

Yes!!!! Have to give good vibes and totally imagine our adjudicator signing off on our I-130 appovals just this minute......putting it in the Queue.......getting in line for the email "send outs" and text messeges, so that we will have an approval sitting in our in-boxes when we awake tomorrow morning!!! Of course with me sitting in Hawaii, and a few hours behind Texas time, I am usually still awake when the messeges get rolled out!!!! Coming tonight.....I feel it!!!!! dancin5hr.gif

My understanding is that some get put into the computer right away, and some are given to a contractor to deal with at night. Hence the appearance of night time approvals. It's also possible that the adjudicator is working from home.

Oh her (assuming that you're talking about Menendez's person), I wouldn't wait for her to call. She doesn't. And she's been off all last week, and it looks like this week as well. Must be nice.

They got my privacy waiver and information on Nov. 1. They told me I would get an answer within 14-21 business days. When I called on Dec. 19th and actually got her on the phone (btw, have been calling almost daily since Dec. 2. Don't call in the afternoon, she won't answer the phone at all.) she told me that they'd sent a request to the USCIS on Nov. 19th and hadn't gotten an answer yet. They are friggin' useless. (She tried getting me to send her in another privacy waiver, until I told her that I'd sent it in Nov. and was still waiting on an answer from them, and also had been calling for weeks trying to get an answer from her. After she told me that she hadn't heard anything from the USCIS, she asked me if there was anything else she could do for me. Yeah, like maybe do your damn job.)

I'm currently filling out the info to send to Booker. Maybe I'll get somewhere with him.

Also, Chris Smith's immigration person is incompetent AND useless. And barely literate. I swear, we should make a master list of how effective everyone's contacts to Congress people, Senators, and the Ombudsman has been.

I hear that. I've been trying to find his local contact info since he took office. (I voted for him too.) I found it, and that's why I'm going for Booker next. I hope that he's more helpful than the other two have been.

If you keep me updated on his reaction to you, I'll do the same for me. :)
