Texas Service Center is hell! I'm trying not to be filled with hate for them, but obviously they dont give a damn. What a bunch of slackers...lazy federal union workers. And its more infuriating that they are not working in any kind of chronological order at all. When I got the transfer notice, I was filled with hope. But it seems that maybe we would be better off still at NBC. I'm so discouraged...

I share the same hate. Its so sad that it is the holiday season and we have this hate in our lives. I so hope that someone goes to work at the TSC tomorrow and decides to do some work.

Thanks for the positive words. I'll take all I can get. I sure hope you're right. I was reading that June and later filers are getting approved left and right. It is soooo depressing. I am at the end of my rope. Who knew it would take this long just to get the USCIS to look at my file? I am trying so hard to hold it all together.

There has to some explanation why in the hell people from May, June and even November are getting approved when people from March and April are still waiting. Sometimes I think I should file another form for premium processing but considering I have to I-130 cases, it would cost me another about $2500 ($1225 per case). Thats alot considering what I have paid so far and what I will be paying to NVC. It's business ..... business to make money without providing proper service. In business world whenever there is an exchange of money the buyer can always hold the seller responsible ................ what the hell is happening here. If the work load is too much then hire more people. Its not my problem who is working and how they are working as long as the work is being done right. We are being screwed both ways !!!!!!!!!!

I agree.... if they told me in the beginning that I could pay an extra $2500 to be processed immediately.... I would have paid right then and there. To me, thats business. What they are doing to us right now is torture.

They knew the backlog was coming. Its poor planning and the lack of caring individuals. Why didn't they even out the processing of the K-1's and the I-130's from the get-go?

They knew this was happening but chose to keep sending new filers to the NBC. I also think they knew from the beginning that the NBC would not be processing anything.

I can't even read the other threads anymore. It makes me so furious.

I almost called my mom and asked if I could borrow $1200.00 so I could fly to CR yesterday to be with my husband on New Years... but then reality hit me and I remembered that I have to buy a flight for his interview ( whenever that may be) Im so sick over this.

Now I just hope that they can atleast honor their 60 days notice. This step used to take only 5-6 months at the most. Now its ........ simply unspeakable. I really hope and pray that I hear something positive from CSV in the month of January. Thats all I can say. I wiush I could pay that additional $2500 but when I think about NVC, the medical fees and then the tickets ............ at that point I just calm myself down and tell myself that I have waited 8 months ..... Maybe another month wouldn't hurt.

Hi loveMyTico

My situation is exactly the same as yours.

We had transferred to TSC on Nov, 27th. Ever since we haven't heard anything.... :(

I was expected, we might heard good news within two weeks.

Now we have to be apart new year and our anniversary also.

So hang in there! And I feel you!!

I don't understand what happens to Texas?? No approvals recently.

Now NBC is faster than them.

I just sent my Senators office another request for an inquiry. In the last inquiry answer it said my file was transferred to TSC and I need to contact them directly for further information... SO... Yeah I'm sure they r happy with that.

My hubby was told from lawyer that, we should hear something in a month or two months.

But I have a question, if this process going to pass a year? Is it become invalid?

My hubby says, if become invalid, come to the states with sightseeing visa and change status? Wait them in the states.

I don't really understand it. But something like that.

Is it possible to do?

no, it can't become invalid because they haven't approved you yet. Once you get that approval, they'll hold on to your petition for a year.

I don't know about the adjustment of status part..

The worst part is that they think that they can tell or update anything on their website and people wouldnt know anything. They think of us as fools. I guess they dont know that there are forums where people know and share information. They think that we are only looking at their processing times via their website and so they can tell whatever and we have no other way but to believe. I am thinking next month when they update it will be changed to Feb 14 coz technically they are busy so much approving July, August, November and perhaps December applications that they cant get around working on March and April applications.

They play with the numbers. If they approve May, June and July and leave some February files in the system, the average will look better. God forbid you mention to tier 2 that you know of April and later files that were approved. They will insist that they are working on Feb 13th. They think we're stupid. There are some people who don't check on their papers and just accept the wait. I can't imagine sitting around just wondering...

I thought I'd chime in here. It does make me feel better to know others are in the same situation I'm in. I'm still waiting after my file was transferred November 15.

I've written to EVERYONE I can think of within the government, and all I get in response is a form letter saying, "I am committed to securing our borders." What??? It's bad enough that we're all stuck waiting, but those responses are even more insulting. This process is frustrating, expensive, and emotionally draining. I just wish someone would listen to what it does to families. (BTW, the president's office did tell me that his number one concern was keeping families together and protecting the sanctity of marriage...after that, it's all about securing the border. That was super helpful and just made everything soooooo much better.)

My solution to this whole process..... if they dont want to hire new people then USCIS should not accept any new applications for ..... lets say 2 months. During these two months they should work on clearing on the back log. After that they should reopen to accepting new applications. I am sure USCIS can survive not making "new money" for 2 months.

My solution to this whole process..... if they dont want to hire new people then USCIS should not accept any new applications for ..... lets say 2 months. During these two months they should work on clearing on the back log. After that they should reopen to accepting new applications. I am sure USCIS can survive not making "new money" for 2 months.

its not like they would be losing business. They are the only agency that can do what they do. Actually, I think that is what they did to us.... they accepted our petitions ( or fee..LOL) and they stockpiled us over at the NBC while they processed the DACA and I-130s with provision waivers attached. So, I think we are their answer to "not accepting new applications"
