Well lovetico, I realy admire your faith and hope about getting approve this holiday,i wish I could share the same faith with you,am a April 4 pd and was transfered to NSC on 15 of November and we re asked to wait until 60days, which me and my wife have place our hope on,its realy hard for us lovemetico,we knew immigration process was going to take a longtime,but not this long for only to get NOA2, one love

Thanks... I agree with you. We knew the process was long but I never thought it would take this long just for the NOA2 approval. When I checked the processing times right before we were married in March, they were somewhere around 5-6 months. I am so sad without my husband this year. This is our 3rd Christmas being apart. I don't have any more vacation time so I have to wait until his interview to visit again. And at this point... Who friggin knows when the heck that will be.

I really was hoping for something before Christmas. I tried to stay positive. I would love to take a walk through the TSC and see what exactly they do all day.

My main issue with this whole process is:

In the name of clearing backlog, a good number of April apps were transferred to Nebraska in mid November only to be stuck there again while later cases transferred to other centers leapfrog over them. That is incompetence of USCIS, at best, or a deliberate diversion at the expenses of these people. To add insult to injury, after clearing NVC's backlog, they are approving apps from May and June now. So the April filers got shafted twice! Those who transferred to NSC got swept under the carpet so that as a whole USCIS is making progress in moving the process time along. What a jib!

What you are saying is absolutely true. Kindly fill your Time Line so that every one can know your PD and transfered ot which service center?

Just received an email from uscis, RFE ....... I thought we were approved but an RFE instead......now to wait what evidence they need

Yeah that really is strange. Btw I dont always trust their updates/emails. Unless you get a letter in mail for RFE, I wouldnt worry about it. Btw I see your application has a date of April 10th. Mine was April 16. When and Which service center were you transferred to and when was NOA2 approved?

Thank u. Maybe ur right, last Thursday Dec 19 I received an update aboutw change of adress that I never requested. I was transferred to California on nov 21.......no noa2 appproval yet

It seems like not much work was done today.... I mean on the 24th. Didnt hear much or guess no one saying anything about any approvals or any good news. Now looking forward to the remaining 2 days of this week and 3 days of next week just because New Years eve will also be a like a half day. Hoping to receive my birth certificate Friday so I can mail out my papers, pictures and other docs to my husband....then he can add his papers and send it to TSC...why did this have to happen just before Xmas where no one really works and half the places are closed :( anybody has an idea how long it takes for an approval after they receive the requested evidence? Merry Christmas and happy holidays regardless.
