So, I decided to check my status on the USCIS wedsite last night. I was not able to log in. Apparently my password was reset by someone. Its only been a couple weeks since I logged in. So this morning I changed my password AGAIN and checked my status. It used to have NOV 27th as the last touch but when I looked this morning, it said Dec 3rd for my I-130 and Dec 2nd for my K-3. I'm not getting too excited because it was probably just someone scanning us in at the TSC since we were transferred on Nov 27th. I just thought it was weird that I couldn't log in. This happens to me alot. Does anyone else have this problem and how often have you had to change your password? if at all?

Good Luck to the filers who are still not APPROVED. THANKS USCIS for making our Christmas a happy one !!

Yes, I also had to reset my password at least 4 or 5 times in the last 9 months. I wasn't sure what the deal was with that. But it was very annoying. I think it was also when I hadn't logged in for awhile.

I've been praying for your approval. I had such a strong feeling you were going to get it before Christmas. It could still happen. Besides we need you guys over in the NVC thread.

Oh PS: The Jefferson's! LOL Wasn't it on right afer All in the Family? Maybe on a Sunday night? Showing my age too! smile.png

That's not a system glitch or error. They are stating that they processed 1 days worth of petitions in a month. Because of that processing date, no one who filed after that can ask for a service request, help from the Ombudsman, or help from their representatives. They know well what they are doing. This is the second time in the past 4 months they're trying this tactic.

Wow .... if thats the case then this is ry wrong on their part. Every month I wait very anxiously around that time to look for updates but if this is what they are doing then I am speechless. Now the letter I received after transfer to CSV states that I should receive a response within 60 days. Does that 60 days even mean anything? I am almost close to 30 day mark .... well 25 to be exact. Which means I should hear something by January.

Same thing for me. transferred on 11-18 to TSC and a RFE on 12-18. I have 2 of the I-130's and a I-129f. So far just the one notice of an RFE on the stepsons petition. Anyone else have multiple petitions with an RFE on only one?

While I agree.... RFE's SUCK I am thankful to see movement from TSC. and on a Saturday.

I really thought something good was going to happen this week. Now, I am hoping somebody will be working on Monday. I am sure the USCIS is open because Tuesday and Wednesday are the "Official" days off. Maybe there are a few employees who already used up their PTO and are coming in just to provide coverage. The Embassy in Costa Rica is open on Monday, Thursday and Friday... so why can't they?

I just wanted to ask people here if they received any email/txt update from USCIS a week after receiving the actual physical letter of transfer to any of the service centers. I received two email one on 25th and then on 26th Nov that my case is being transferred. It was not until 28th or 29th when I actually saw the letter in mail that my case was transferred to CSV. After that on 2nd December I got following update via txt/email:

**************************************

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Initial Review

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

*****************************************

Does this mean that someone is actually working in my files/cases or is this one of those generic email? Anyone else received these emails a week after receiving the physical letter in mail? Any progress after that update?

Thank you.
