Well my wife and I both feel a bit dumb. We just got our RFE back and found out what was wrong. They sent our I-130 back and highlighted part if the document we forgot to fill out. All that time wasted for our oversight. So thankful that they didn't deny the petition.

We've never heard of them sending the form back for you to fix a mistake. Have you guys?

No but take it as a positive because as soon as you send it back you know your file is on someone's desk and it should get approved pretty soon after. Take the negatie as a positive :) (Least it's fixable!)

USCIS (239 days):

04.18.2013 - NOA1

12.13.2013 - NOA2 via email; I-130 approved. Shipped to NVC

NVC (274 days):

12.30.2013 - Arrived at NVC

01.27.2014 - Received case no. & IIN

02.07.2014 - Completed & submitted DS-261 form online

02.13.2014 - Paid AOS bill

02.18.2014 - AOS showing as 'paid'

03.18.2014 - Invoiced for IV bill (finally!)

03.19.2014 - Made payment for IV bill

03.21.2014 - IV bill showing PAID

I got the third mesg on 18 November

and the hard copy on 22 november i was transferred to taxes

And till nw still waiting smile.png i hope we good news for us all soooon

My new friend at my Congressman's office (seriously he has been so kind & helpful) just sent me an update saying that he called their contact at the CSC and was told that our case has been assigned to an agent. He said the contact told them that usually there is a queue before being assigned, but that we are out of the queue and already with an agent. blahblahblah I heard: "My file is on desk!" yay! He said we should hear something relatively soon!

Also...we never got an A# on any of our NOAs 1st one or transfer. :-(

Soooo hoping for approval for Christmas! :-)

So I got my hard copy for our transfer to CSC on Nov. 19 but never received an email or text. I definite signed up for electronic notification because I got both for our NOA1. No emails since then. Not even for my address change. Should I notify them of this?

Also- we don't have an A# at all- have never received one... Does anyone think this is a bad sign? :(

i'm April filler but this is my first time to write here i wanted to share my good news

My PD was April 10. The file was at (NBC)

Transferred on 19th of November

Receive hard copy of transfer on 29 the file went to CSC

Today the case changed online to APPROVED ( on December 6)
