Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker on the boards and until now I had very little to add of value other than similar frustrations than all of you. Another data point to add to the pile: as of today 12/4/13 our I-130 application (NOA1 on 4/29/13) was also transferred to the "local office". I haven't gotten further information as to which one yet but I'll keep the Google Docs application updated and post here if we hear anything more!

It's funny, this afternoon my wife and I were having out daily Skype conversation (she's in London and I'm in Texas) and for the first time in a long time we had a bit of a frustration-fueled conversation about application processing time and whether I should possibly apply for a spousal visa for the UK and just forget about the US. With everyone's messages on the boards about transfers we wondered if it was even going to happen this year or be delayed until next year (or not at all!). We actually got so frustrated with the situation we just had to stop talking about it today and we said good night...

Then, like clockwork the transfer message comes! We quickly got on Skype and it was like the clouds opened from a long period of USCIS-fueled rain.

I guess long story short I think we're all super frustrated but there are lots others out there just as frustrated as you! Thanks to all of you guys for often putting into words all the feelings we've been having over the long 8+ months, it means a lot that I feel like there are others stuck in this mess just like us. In the immortal words of the Brits: "Keep Calm, Carry On."

Fellow Londoner here, welcome!

Hmmm... I see you on sheet 1,(row 76/70) but not sure if anything else is going on. I haven't tried to add anything since i'm already on there.

Thanks everybody. I don't post much but I follow this board and all the writings. It has been a big help to me to share this arduous process with all of you. I hope everybody (especially all of the April filers!) get approved soon and we all move on to the next stage together!! I have all my fingers and toes crossed good.gif

Ok I have been waiting in the wings for the past 7+ months but after a particularly arduous phone call with a Tier 2 representative yesterday, I am finally frustrated enough to join the conversation.

I am an April 24 filer who has received no communication from NBC since our initial NOA1 receipt. On our latest call we were told there was no updates on our file, no one had touched it, it wasn't in the process of being transferred - nothing.

We are both living in Canada and originally planned to complete the consulate process here, but because of the crazy delays my work permit has expired before the petition has even been approved. I am now on a visitor visa which I presume makes me ineligible to apply within Canada, even though my husband is a joint US-Canadian citizen.

It looks like we will have to transfer our file to the New Zealand consulate once it reaches NVC and uproot to New Zealand just for the interview.

Sorry to unload, with everyone getting transferred it's rough to still be flying blind with absolutely no info!

A scenario that I'm facing. July filer based in Macau but my ID expires in July 2014. If I'm not all squared away by then I'll have to up sticks and move to the UK. It's giving me the $h*ts just thinking about it...

Is there any chance you can get expedited to avoid having to uproot yourself...?
