I received 2 emails from USCIS couple of days ago and hard copy of the transfer notice in mail today. It went to Texas according to the hard copy. I wonder what the time line is at texas.......

My huband also just received the hard copy and we have been transferred to Texas too. I am also wondering what Texas is like.

I have jus received text msg couple minutes ago. It is said that my application was transferred to another service center. I don't know where they are gonna transferring me to... Just waiting. My PD is April 15th. Today is Dec 2. I received text msg at 8:35pm.

Any more transfers today? It seems like after the emails theyve started transferring the petitions for Spouses from Phillipines whether it be April may or june july

just got transfer today. The I-130 for my son and my wife

why they didn't transfer I-129.

Procession times at all the service centers are quite a crapshoot and don't necessarily follow any definite pattern/timeframe. A rough estimate from other members has been somewhere around one month after transfer. The letter does give a 60-day processing window but we all know that we cannot rely on any estimates the USCIS spits out.

Keep an eye on the April spreadsheet for some real data from fellow members. That might be the best estimate.

My USCIS Journey...

 

I had an I-485 filing already submitted through an employment-based application. Post-marriage, I submitted an I-130, which after being approved was interfiled with the existing I-485.

Interfiling/AOS Timeline:

01/03/14 - Day 274 - Interfiling request received by USCIS

04/03/14 - Day 364 - Interfiling service request sent

04/30/14 - Day 391 - Second interfiling service request sent

05/19/14 - Day 410 - Email sent asking for case status update

06/04/14 - Day 426 - Response received that I-485 was transferred to NBC

06/05/14 - Day 427 - I-485 updated to "sent to local office for processing"

07/02/14 - Day 454 - Status changed to testing & interview. Interview date August 4!!

08/04/14 - Day 487 - Mini-Stokes interview. IO intended on approving AOS but the computer did not show I-130 approval. The wait goes on...

08/18/14 - Day 501 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 is approved but no card prodn ordered. Asked to call back in 2 weeks if no update.

08/29/14 - Day 512 - Spoke with Tier 2 IO - said that my I-485 was not approved yet, but my file was with an IO for a decision

09/03/14 - Day 517 - Wrote a request to my Congressman asking for assistance

09/09/14 - Day 523 - Status updated to Card/Document Production

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card mailed to address on record/permanent resident status registered

09/15/14 - Day 529 - Status update - Card picked up by USPS.

09/16/14 - Day 530 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED IN THE MAIL!!

I guess our little committee of sad no action at NBC is falling apart, first we lost our president Tico's luv, then you and then ME TOO!!!!

Just got my e-mails earlier too :) got transferred to another office. Both i130 and i129. I'll update my timeline and the spreadsheet accordingly.

I just really really really hope NVC will be able to process their part in what WE consider timely manner.

Oh, by the way, I got my third email today "... being processed at a USCIS office..." just sharing :D

And also, the USCIS app for android is the best, I get the notification of the case status being changed even before I get the email or text... I LOVE IT!!! :D :D :D :D :D

"Your Case Status: Initial Review"

The I130..was transferred and is now being proce4ssed at a USCIS office. Your will be notified by mail when a decision made, or if the office needs something from you".

This must mean they have started my review. I was originally at the NBC, then recently transferrred to Cali.

If i lose my sense of humor you'll know i'm dead dead.gif We've all become so weirdly close here, I get so excited too for everyone who gets good news and i feel for all who are still waiting. We'll make it through this, it's rough, really rough and it drives me insane headbonk.gif but we'll make it..... i hope wacko.png Did you get transferred yet?

I am relieved that our case is still alive but in reality i'm still entirely enraged that i've lost 8 months (just so far) with my husband that i'll never get back and tens of thousands of dollars that were supposed to go towards our new home that we'll never get back because of incompetency of someone who sees my life as a case number.... I don't mean to get negative, we are all finally hearing some good news and i'm sincerely happy for everyone, but the problem still exists and it's not likely that anyone will ever be held responsible for all our losses.

A new letter is being drafted to be completed 12/8 i believe, i'll again be part of it and i encourage everybody to participate as well.
