So, I got the same thing, where it says "transferred to your local field office" and then I got a letter today that says it was transferred to the California Service Center. So does that mean my file should be processed soon? I want to read all these posts, but there is no way there are 173 of them lol.

If anyone could tell me, that would be great.

No one can tell for sure but figure about 30 days. The current CSC average from transfer to NoA2 for March filers is 17 days. That's counting only the approvals, not everyone who's waiting.

For comparison, I was transferred to NSC 30 days ago and the NSC average is 22 days.

If i am not wrong those cases which have been transferred is getting RFE and without REF cases are approving directly from NBC.

Conclusion : Cases are transfer for RFE ?

This is my assumption , may be i am wrong .

I really hope so! I think my case is straightforward. I had green card before, 12 years marriage to a US citizen with two US citizen children..I'm PD 15. Nothing yet.

No. Cases are being transferred in order to speed up processing. Many of these cases are receiving approvals within 2 to 4 weeks of transfer. There is a USCIS bulletin that explains the transfers. Also, when you receive your hard copy of your transfer notice there is an additional sheet that explains the same thing and states that a decision on transferred cases should be made within 60 days. Can I please ask a dumb question? at what stage, after what does the actual interview get scheduled? Who schedules it? I'd like some better clarity on this I don't know why I'm not sure. Thank you April filers!!
