Things are progressing for you good.gif.

Does USCIS work on Thanksgiving or they finished working on the emails [prior to Thanksgiving] and put it in an automated system to send on Thanksgiving? It is a little strange to receive email from a govt agency (in particular USCIS) on Thanksgiving!!!

Please fill in your timeline on VJ.

Goodluck.

Thanksgiving was on 28th right. I received emails on 27th and 29th.

I received the second wave of transfer emails this morning. Glad they are open today. I'm in Costa Rica right now. It's really hot. It's a nice change from the Philadelphia cold weather. Happy to be here with my husband.

hi guys just wanted to let you know our 130 was approved, Im on vacation so really cant udate my profile or type in detail on this computer

but I got transferred to california, yesterday I got email that my alien registration # was changed, and today I got email that yesterday my application was approved

Im april 10 filer, my last email was on nov 21 that it was the local uscis office....so after they got it, they approved my application in a week time

I dont have any hardcopies as Im on vacation and only get email updates

Im only posting this to give hope to people to keep your heads up, I will fill my timeline when Im back from vacation

Congratulations!

I'm an April 9th filer and our case was recieved at California on the 21st too. Our timelines are almost identical.

I'm sure our files were given to different officers and your one is working faster. My officer is going out for long lunches and having multiple cigarette breaks.

Hopefully I will hear something next week.

@TYorke1, that was funny though about your officer having multiple cigarette breaks. Much better, I think he took the week off for thanksgiving :( - Lol just kidding, I am sure you will hear something soon. CSC is usually pretty fast.

I am pretty optimistic we will see a wave of approvals next month :) :) - I just hope NVC will be able to handle the files in a short time frame.

Haha. I work for a government agency in the UK and we're exactly the same so I can't really complain. I went for a curry with colleagues for lunch which took 2.5 hours and am now nipping off early to the pub!

Now I have the I-1797C (transfer notices) of all three petitions going to the Texas Service Center (Mesquite Texas) on Nov. 18th. Strange since I live in California. I had thought my petitions would have gone to CSC. So now I'm not sure if this is a faster or slower process in Texas. I have looked at the threads and I don't see a lot about times at TSC. Does anyone know?

So, I got the same thing, where it says "transferred to your local field office" and then I got a letter today that says it was transferred to the California Service Center. So does that mean my file should be processed soon? I want to read all these posts, but there is no way there are 173 of them lol.

If anyone could tell me, that would be great.

Congratulations on all the transfers and the approval!

But please remember to fill in the spreadsheet so we can get more accurate tracking data:

Just add your data into the next available empty box if you haven't already. :-)
