Hello everybody,

I have been following this forum for a while now but never registered. I finally decided to register (and update the your spreadsheet in the meantime)

First, I would like to thank everybody for the precious information that is communicated through the site. It was (and still is) a really good source of information regarding immigration for me and my wife.

Second, we all know how hard it is to be separated from our loved ones, so hang on everybody!!!

Ok, are you ready for this ? I received a text message about my PREVIOUS case from back in 2008 of which I withdrew.

So I check my status and this is what it says.... But remember, I WITHDREW this case Officially. I hope they got their ####### straight. The only thing I can think of is that my OLD I-130 was approved back then. Now they are revoking that in order to proceed with my current petition

Post Decision Activity

On November 26, 2013, the previous decision made on your case was revoked and we mailed you a notice explaining the decision. If you have not received the notice within 14 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address

I am all nervous now... I am happy they are looking at my case. Hopefully I get an approval out of this one instead of a transfer.... BUT a transfer is ok too.

Oh WOW!!! Yea, i'm sending u my best set of vibes and realy hope u get approved now, they just never cease to amaze me at the good ol' uscis!!! Just wow!

THANKS ! ! ! ! ! ! !

This is why I thought in the back of my mind that our case would NOT get transferred.. I guess there are a few extra wack-a-doodle things they need to do with our case. But who knows. This could be another smoke screen to buy some time. Maybe they will put it back in a box and wait the 14 days the notice says to wait if I don't receive the hard copy in the mail. I sent a message to my lawyer. I'm sure I know more than he does at the moment since I sit on the email and wait for something... ( bad habit)

If you received an email saying "transferred to local office", you can disregard it. Your case has been transferred, but to one of the service centers (California, Nebraska or Texas). Expect more emails in the next few days and eventually a snail mail notice of exactly where you've been transferred.

I'm feeling good today for our 3 members!

Tico I know your case is a little complicated, but Djuro is yours similar in anyway? Just trying to figure it out.

I am a first time filer and I was told my case would be extremely forward/easy because he's from Canada and because we've been together for so long.

Yes! Let's see those approvals!!! Lol!

Our case is not too complicated, we got married feb 28 2013, sent in i130 apr 5 followed immediately by the i129 for the K3 visa which sounded good in theory, i knew it was questionable whether they're actually doing the k3's or not but i had to try. Hubby ad i have been together as teenagers and parted for 12 yrs, by chance we met again and knew we were meant to be together. They denied him a tourist visa before we got married cuz he couldnt prove ties to his country. I hate the way they treat people as guilty until proven innocent! Anyway we loaded our cases with everything i could gather and a cover letter with our story.... (Pics, tel and skype records, money transactions, my plane ticks, passport stamps....whole 9 yards)

And i wait......

That has to be good news! Excited for you. I thought the same thing, maybe not being transfered means they are just going to approve! They have to with you because it doesn't make sense why they would not have transfered yours yet, but then again - they don't really make sense!

Congrats to the recent transfers! We are going through the same text, then another text goodness - so waiting on text number three and will call to see where we got sent.

It looks like some people have been get transfer before others who are before them, that's not fair. I saw someone here his PD is 24th April and got transfer. while others are still waiting, mine is 25th. which is good for me its getting closer to my PD date. but I feel that's not fair.
