I spend all my time over analyzing. I noticed that most of the march filets are being approved in an average of 250 days from noa1 to noa2. 8.3 mo. So April filets should start to hear something by mid dec. but there were a few rfe's. I have a friend that went thru this process 2 yrs ago and he said he sent the same documents 2 and 3 times cause they kept losing them. Hope they're not pulling this ####### to slow things down. It's so annoying.

I like your analysis. I would be more than happy with 8.3 months to approval, I feel like as soon as there's a transfer I'll be able to start preparing my life here for the move. Get the police check done, things like that. I just want to be transferred so bad so we can at least have someone to call and info pass etc!!

If I am 250 days to approval I'd be approved a few days before xmas! Factoring in holidays though, I'll prob be January.

I wouldn't get the police cert until you get the approval. At least my lawyer told me not to do that til then because they expire in a short period of time. Not worth doing it twice since it has to be translated. In Costa Rica it only takes a few hours to get the cert.

Oh I've been told it can take up to 8 weeks to get where I am. I'll have to look into that!

Also, I thought it lasts 6 months.

I spent a lot of time looking at the spreadsheets yesterday and while I'm really happy about my transfer...I'm still not happy with the timeframe. Based on information from the forums, I still don't think we will be in the US together until April or May of next year. Most of the transfers to CSC where my file is look like they've been approved in 20-30 days...closer to 30 now, due to the holidays I think. Even then, of all the Feb & march filers to receive NOA2, only a few have reported receiving their NVC case number. From the people on the NVC thread it appears its taking approx. 30 days to go from NOA2 to arrival at NVC and then another 8wks for them to process & assign a case number!

I'm really hoping that NVC realizes whats coming to them from USCIS finally picking up the pace...if NVC doesn't also pick up their pace USCIS's backlog is simply going to become NVC's backlog. :-( Maybe they will pick up the pace there at the start of the new year. Very worried.

Hi there! I'm April 15th PD. Nothing happened yet.

I actually had a Green Card when I moved to Australia 7 years ago with my husband and a daughter. Of course it is not available after 7 years in overseas, so this is the second time to do all over again..we didn't expect it would take this long when we applied it!

I've already got a police check from my country back in April, I hope it would be OK by the time it is needed...ClockWatch2.gif
