I wish they would start approving more files instead of just moving EVERYONE.. I don't want it to end up like the NBC ... ( a storage closet)

I have a funny feeling mine will be the last file left at the NBC after everyone gets transferred.... lonely ....... in a box........ in a dark room dusty as hell

I was just looking at the spreadsheet and realized the last transfer (in logical order) was for PD April 15th and it was done on the 20th of this month. Maybe that means they are tranferring the first half of April filers and the rest of us (second half of the month) will have to wait a little longer to get transferred...

Just trying to put some sense into this stupid stupid stupid long process (Sorry, jsut venting :D)

I'll be there with you in the same dusty box, don't worry!

Since a lot of the emails come at night ... (and I'm sure that is to cut down on phone calls)... I have been checking at all hours and when I wake up I pray that an email will be sitting there just waiting....I have a phone app the goes directly to the USCIS website (USCIS case status notifier) I check it constantly.

I even try to stay away from VJ.... It's just impossible not to check. Like a watched pot that never bolis...

BTW, I think the Feb 12th date is BS. I think its more like March.. but thats just me.

I had HIGH HOPES for this week but once again feeling crushed and forgotten. I'm happy to be seeing my husband on Thanksgiving but I wish I was bringing him home with me. Leaving him just sucks

There are only a select few who even know we got married. We decided not to make an announcement until he is actually here. I knew it would take a very long time and I just didn't want to explain to everyone and he didn't want to have to explain either. I know so many people in his town and I am sure they would back him in a corner and grill him. He is very quiet and gets annoyed when people get in his business.

People just don't understand the process of this whole immigration thing. Most think it is automatic and those are the fools you have to explain everything to .

Once he's here....

HI, this is my husband.XXXX...

Not

Hi, I'm married but my husband doesn't live in the US yet....

Ok, guys, so my brother who is a complete nerd and has been blessed with an awesome sense of logic and is great with numbers decided to try and put some logic into the transfers. We didn't find the logic (or maybe I didn't understans, I'm numbers impared, I can't even multiply without a calculator lol) but he got, what he says is very good info and it's pretty comforting for me.

We went on Igor's list and found that there are 110 I-130 cases with an april priority date still pending and according to the spreadsheet we have only 42 of those have been transferred ( they might be more, but we are working with this numbers).

We found that on April 2013 aproximately 50000 I-130 forms were received by USCIS.

So, following a basic math principle (according to him, not me lol) if they have transferred 40 out of 110 cases on VJ how many out of 50000 in USCIS have been transferred?

110 42

50000 X

X= 50000*42/110= 19090

So they have transferred about 20000 out of the 50000 cases from april.

This info (obtained by my super smart brother <he made me write that lol>) is not official and is just to get a sense of how things are in general.

Though I should share this with ya'll. I don't know if I feel good cause Lovemytico, Kateflossom and I are not the only ones who have not been transferred or if looking at the big picture just makes me feel like I still have a lot more waiting to do...

I know its good news, but for me its too little, too late. The emails obtained through the freedom of information act shows they knew the system overload was coming, and they did nothing about it. This should have been done in June or July. I do not believe for a second they care about wait times or families. They mentioned at least twice that its because of family unity that they have been working soooooo hard to reduce times....if they really wanted to keep the 5 month goal, they should have just done it! Its a flat out lie. So we get punished and the late 2013 and 2014 filers will get quick processing. So nice. I am sure they were instructed to process DACA applications as soon as possible for political reasons. We were left on the side of the road. This response actually infuriates me more. This is a CYA move by them to reduce scrutiny by their overseers. Again, if this happened months ago, I would believe it and appreciate it. Way too late. By the way, I did not receive this email. ranting33va.gif Yes, I am bitter and angry.

I totally understand your points and agree with you. It makes me very upset as well.

Pretty cool !! it's give or take a few here and there because there are some VJ members who never ever come back and update their timelines. There is a way to see when the last time someone signed on to VJ. I would guess there are many who sign on once and create a timeline but never come back. There are also many who post on a thread that they received an approval but never created a timeline...

I know its only a estimate from your brother and I do much appreciate his math genius... because math is NOT my strong point FOR SURE !!! Good to have another set of eyes look at the stats ... Just to be sure we aren't nuts !!
