Good to see all these files moving...hopefully it means NOA2s are right around the corner for them. So it looks like they are going in order....most of the transfers seem like first week of April.

Any updates on your case?

On November 14, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

finally my case was transferred today from the MSC , I don't know where yet... Does any one knows where USCIS would send it? I live in Alabama and there is NO local office that I can see...

finally my case was transferred today from the MSC , I don't know where yet... Does any one knows where USCIS would send it? I live in Alabama and there is NO local office that I can see...

Alabama's local office is Atlanta.. Unless your needed for interview chances of you going there is slim to none.. Last time I looked up Atlanta backlog it was 14 months.. They are probably the reason NBC says Oct online.. You should be thanking God if your petition doesn't go there.

If you need to know your local office just call and ask a Tier 2. The operator will transfer you because they dont even know that lol. I havent gotten a transfer notice so I guess my file is still at MSC. But at least if I do I know my local office is Fresno.

April 5th ..and not a single thing on my Petetion..ahhhh

They just started transferring April and so far just the first week. April 5th was a Friday.

I am sure you will hear something soon.

I hope they continue with the trend and transfer the second week of April next week. My NOA1 is April 12th which was a Friday.So maybe I'll see a transfer by next Friday.. I hope they get it transferred before the holiday week of the 25th. Alot of people take the whole week off for Thanksgiving. The USCIS employees get to spend the holidays with their families and we get to sit on the edge of our seats waiting for them to work on our files so we can MAYBE see our spouses by early 2014. God Willing

Okay guys

I got a notice yesterday (14 November) saying that my case as been transferred to another office for processing

Today (15 November) I got another notice saying that my case has been transferred to a LOCAL office for processing and that the local office has complete jurisdiction over the case.

What should i make of this? Is this good/ bad news?

I'm so happy to see so many cases being tranferred! It just brings back the hope and gets me all excited!

I'm just honestly really happy for eveyone being tranferred. Not even a little bit jealous like my husband said I would be LOL. This just means they are working on eveyone's case and will get to mine soon hehehe.

Keep us posted please and fill in your info on this link so we can have a record and start dong some numbers.

For what I read you will get messages informing you of the transfer and it's great news because (for what i've read in the february and march treads) you will be getting a NOA2 or RFE (depending on your case) soon... they all say another month or 2 after being transfered.

If anyone else has more info about it, please share :)

Don't worry! :) This happened to all the March filers as well, it's an annoying system error. Your first notice says "another office," second says "local office," and you'll receive a third that ought to say something like "service center." In any case, you can bet your petition is on its way to CA, TX, or NE. Just have to wait for your hard copy to find out!
