I also got a new message today. That my case was transferred to my LOCAL office. Thats right it said local im waiting on hard copy with more info.

You should get a third message saying it was transferred to a service center, March transfers have all had 3 messages (transferred, local office, service center) for some silly reason. From what I've seen hard copy is the only way to known which center you get, but a lot are going to Nebraska. Good luck!

Called USCIS today, guy said my file is at NBC and should stay there. (who knows what that means) He said that NBC did not have a timeline for a long time until aug. 31 for I-30 petitions. And I should know between 9-11 months if my petition was approved or not. I asked if it was 9-11 months from the date that they posted their timeline in aug., He said no, 9-11 months from my NOA 1 (april 11). Thought I would share, I am staying optimistic, at least it is not the 16 month wait. :) He also said they should update the time line information on the uscis website in the next 15 days, And if I did not see the update.

I asked him how could I know my file would stay there, he said i would receive notification as soon as it it transferred and where it is going. He said that at this point they would only transfer files to be approved quicker than the "average time". So basically if you do get transferred the approval is soon going to come your way. YAY! whatever it is let's pray for NOA2's soon!

Yes so many mixed messages, but people being transferred or approved speaks for itself. Stay optimistic everyone! Expect the worst and we may get a nice xmas surprise.
