Can you guys give us a little more information about your I-130? Was it expedited? Did you guys file to NBC? Was it ever transferred?Where was the approval from?

CONGRATS(:

I'm also in that stage.

you will need tax forms, w2s for the last three years (affidavit of support)

proof of employment (last three paystubs generally)

2 passport pictures of your spouse

marriage certificates

proof of citizenship (birth certificate, passport copy)

plus some DS forms, but depending on situation those can differ.

& a few fees that round out to about 500 to pay all together before you can schedule an interview.

Good Luck with everything!

I did not request an expidite but I did go to my local USCIS support center and asked about the process to get one. I also contacted my Senator to look into my case for me, to see what was taking so long. The response I received was that my case was in initial review, which I obviously already knew. So I thought contacting my senator was a waste of time, but maybe it helped move things along. If you haven't done that I strongly recommend it. Its a pretty simple process. At least in DE it was.

If you got approved without an expedite, maybe there is hope for the rest of us. Thanks. :)
