That will be totally awesome, and we all get approve and the next few weeks :)

I am guessing Nebraska and Texas don't show up for NEW I-130's. Those service centers are taking the backlog from the NBC. Hopefully they are ONLY processing backlog and we will all be approved faster.

Just a thought

that's why I think those service center are only procesing the backlog. They took them off the charts. That to me says they are not sending NEW ones there. They sent a letter stating 60 days... so hopefully the I-130's are the ONLY petitions they are focusing on.

Now, if they would just keep transferring.....

it would be nice to see more approvals though... I hope it wasn't them just shuffling things around to makeit look like they are doing something. There is really no excuse for this huge backlog to begin with. IMO

I actually have a question... Been really thinking about calling in to find out if our case has been assigned to anyone. If it's been over 7 months (and my original processing estimate was 5) will they let me talk to someone? Processing times say 11 months now... If they just keep changing it up and down I might go crazy. X_x I know everyone feels the same...

So last Friday, I got this email:

On November 15, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

and today I got this email:

On November 18, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing.

So I guess the second email was basically showing they received my paperwork at the service center. Has anyone then been sent on to a local office? I am waiting for my hard copy to see where I was sent. I am getting excited, but trying to temper it with realistic expectations. An NOA2 would be a great Christmas present though!

Spoke to a tier 2 today. They told me that none of the petitions are being sent to local offices anymore and that the notices are glitches. They are all being sent to either Texas Service Center. California Service Center. Vermont Service Center or Nebraska Service Center. Ours was sent to Texas. Don't be shy go ahead and give them a call even before your hard copy come in the mail and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. They will know where your petition ended up

Am I mistaken, or does it look like NSC is processing February filers while CSC is processing March filers? This may not be a bad thing for April filers because there are less February filers outstanding. If what I am seeing is correct, I am hoping that NSC can finish up the February filers and go to April filers soon.

You're mistaken. Plenty of March filers in the NSC. Only a handful of approvals so far. It looks like the CSC is moving much faster than the NSC atm. :)

There are not going to be any transfers to VSC i think, as the hard copy that i received says that USCIS is transferring the cases to CSC, TSC and NSC only.
