So what about us April filers then hmmmm.... no transfers here are there? (Not that anyone's noted.) So we are all still sat in the black hole that is NBC. Steven Plant - Hope that truck you predict is pulling up there this morning....

Six yesterday so far. 50% are not transfered. We need 10-15 per day, maybe this week. Considering the transport time I think they are getting right on them. .

I think they are transferring the third week of march and not all are getting transferred. I think we are in line, next few days we should see more transfer.

Our congressional aide heard back from USCIS. Both our I-129F (K3) and I-130 applications are both at NBC and will be adjudicated at the same time. Both were filed 2nd week of April. So that answers my question if the K3s are even being processed (not). He received the standard "estimated processing time is six months from the date of this letter". Delays are due to "workload factors" and not my case (married 22 years, etc.).

Now a Tier 2 told me early October that I should hear something late October (I did not) or before the end of November (we'll see).

I read another post regarding the K3 and I-130 being adjudicated together at NBC so maybe that's policy??

There were two approvals from March for a filer from Macedonia and one from Nigeria, as well as an approval from August for a French filer, but I think the August one was an expedite. So don't quote me on that.

So if the backlog continues to grow like you say it's doing, does that mean those of us who filed within the past few months are going to have to wait 2 or 3 years to get through the whole process?? I mean, it's simple math right? If they continue to ignore the backlog and it only gets worse then we're looking at the same wait time for I-130s as we did years and years back. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If they continue at the current rate, we're doomed. Yes, it's simple math. You can see it for yourself on national processing volumes and trends. At least those who filed in March had a couple of productive months as they waited. Anyone who filed after April has not seen a single productive month during their wait. If this does not change, we will be looking at a couple of extra months waiting beyond our March filer friends are seeing, especially when you consider the quantity of March petitions!
