I always check both, altough nothing changes. I think everyone that files for a K3 gets that same message. and then they wonder how to find out what the number is.

I see. Yeah once we got approval, we will see something different status besides initial review.. So all we can do is just sit and waitttt ;(

where is this list?

for people writing to your representative what are you asking for? expediency or to have case transferred to a different facility?

When I contacted my congressman, I initially just asked to find out exactly my status and exactly what facility the case was at...and then that we were interested in doing expedite. They gave me all the info and then told me they would help with filing expedite. I don't think they have the ability to get your filed transferred someplace else.

didn't someone on the forum say that the USCIS/AILA meeting is sometime today..... I'm hoping someone has the connections or knows a lawyer that can post all the meeting notes here for us all to see.

Praying that we all hear something this month....just can't cope with this limbo any longer it's driving us insane. Luckily we booked my hubby's flights to the UK for Christmas, so least that's a little light on the horizon. (Missing him terribly.)

We still have yet to hear back from our senator OR congresswoman....would like to do an e-request or infopass but none of the options apply to us... is there anything else we could/should be doing right now? Any advice?

I'm terribly afraid of this month and December. Just when it looked like it was starting to pick up, it gets quiet again and now there are the big American holidays coming up which means extended vacations. :-( I think I've lost all hope of hearing anything before the new year.

But in the mean time, Happy Diwali to those of you celebrating this Hindu holiday! The celebrations in Mumbai are at least a welcome distraction to this waiting game! :-)

Its time to get this show on the road.... I wonder if they plan on transferring the April filers next month when everyone is on vacation.. It would be nice to see the Feb and March filers get some approvals so the hope isn't completely dead.

3 1/2 weeks and I'll be with my husband for 12 days. at least I have something to look forward to...

The holidays are a tough time of the year. I know most of Costa Rica shuts down the last 2 weeks in December. Of course over here, everyone takes extended holiday vacations. UGHHH what a big bummer. It is so hard to stay positive....

I have studied this somemore, the transfers I mean. First let me say that this is just what I think and subject to input from others. I did a search for who contracts to do work for the USCIS.

Now I think that the files are moved a truck load at a time from some warehouse out to the NBC and service centers. At the rate of a truck a week. Maybe 3 trucks to three service centers per week, something like that. There is a contractor (FCI Federal) that sorts and handles the files and packs them on pallets for the truck drivers to load and then they seal the truck and send it on. The Boxes of Files are sorted with Bar Code Readers before being shipped and again each time they are redirected or sorted.

I think it could be that they are shipping 3 weeks worth a week now.

For a long time i thought the USCIS web site was broken, now i see that the USCIS really was just not working on the I-130's for the CR1/IR1's. Now maybe every service center will be.

Sad fact is i know my file is still sitting in that warehouse, never touched yet.
