Whoa now, settle down.

And TimandAna, good for you guys! Glad you got the expedite approved and hopefully you can get your wife out of a dangerous sounding situation soon!

Go ahead and do it.. I'm sure people here won't mind if you get declined and put in back of the line.. Remember like you read over and over here to be honest and have documentation!

Thanks everyone for the congrats!

I tried once trying to figure out the MSC number codes because it would be interesting to know. I never could figure it out really. Good luck with it.

Man, what is your problem with people requesting expedites?? Thats twice now with the childish responses! You'll soon be approaching Troll status...only posting when you have something negative to say. If you want to try for expedite then just do it! If you don't have any valid reason then just deal with it. Those of us that request expedite don't just call and say "hey this is my situation, expedite me!"....it requires a TON of evidence to back your statements. And I'm pretty sure the OP isn't just writing numbers down on a piece of paper and submitting them...evidence should be from valid sources.

Seriously, your spite and jealousy is a bit embarrassing. Really sad.

Wow so not much in the way of NOA2's. yet from the service centers?

Its hard to get a feel for the new time frame. At least they are shipping the ones that have set the longest first. I read that last year they did not. So maybe this time (the train wreak) is a little more planned out. I just keep my hopes up that there are alot more people working on our files now.

From what I've read about the new Overland Park Office. USCIS cant fill the seats. I think the pay rate is too low, 27K to 41k. So a new hire cant marry a lady with 3 kids and bring them in on that pay. So thier plan failed for the most part and now its plan B. Maybe they will still get some part of this done with the staff they could hire.

Even though the posted dates are October 2012 there are 2-3 times as many service centers working for us now, than a month ago. I'm hoping the transfered files are not going to the back of another line. I think we'll know when we see the first transfered files getting approved.

Trying to stay positive.

I'll go work there! I think we all would if it meant seeing approvals faster! The field office thing seems so ridiculous...first some offices were sending them to NBC because they had too many, now NBC is sending them back because they have too many. I fee like very little has actually changed. Why can't they just stop with the shuffling and start with the actual working.

Approval ! ! ! ! ! biggrin.pngyes.gif

NBC received my case for my husband's i130 on April 22nd of 2013, and

on October 29th of 2013 I opened my email and saw it!

Then I checked the USCIS website to make sure I wasn't going crazy and starting to see things.

When I realized this was true I had tears of happiness streaming down my face and I was at work so I couldn't post then but as soon as I got home I came to let all of you know that they must be working on April filers more, and that it seems like April filers aren't being transferred.

My case was at Lee Summit, MO and I never had a transfer.

I'm honestly in shock, I was preparing to wait a few more months from what I have been reading.

This gives me hope that all of you will get your approvals soon also!

Don't give up hope yet!

Great news that something is happening over there. Problem is that it's kind of random, so you have no idea if your day is coming up in the next weeks or the next months.

Replying to questions :

Blueberry Pancake - I only filed a i130, along with all of the proof. when stacked together the proof was probably about 4 inches thick.

Sandraperry - I'm sorry that yours hasn't been approved yet. unsure.png I wish things went in order. The only thing I can think of why mine may have been approved sooner is because I filed with the help of a lawyer so she put a colored cover on the stack of proof and the i130 to ensure it didn't get put to the bottom of the stacks? I wish I had a better answer than that. Maybe they look at petitions filed with lawyers first? Only God knows what they are really up to in there.

Semidevil - No, I never did anything after filing the i130. I just sat and waited for what felt like forever. Never expedited or asked senator for help. I just made sure that everything was perfect before sending in the i130 / evidence/ proof.

CONGRATS ! ! ! ! ! I'm so Happy for you !!!

Is your husband here or in Mexico?

My husband is in Mexico :(
