Any clue which month application is being processed by USCIS. I am loosing my hope that I would be approved in the next 6 month.

You are only 4 months into the waiting so don't look for an approval so soon. If you get approve before the 6 month mark period you is one of the lucky ones. IJS

Nobody really knows... I've seen a spouse approval (IR-1 or CR-1) that took 39 days. We applied for an IR-2 for my stepson in November and it took about 2 months. I have seen people who applied last summer who are still waiting.... but the good news is that it appears folks who applied since October or November of last year are getting approved more quickly than those who applied before that. Did you get an MSC number on your NOA-1? MSC is processing fairly efficiently it seems. But they do send a lot of cases to the local offices, in which case it is luck of the draw if your local office is quick or not.

Your mother's approval could come any day now. You have everything ready to go for NVC? There are some great NVC resources in the spouse forum.

Good luck for a speedy approval!

How do u get a info pass , I don't have a receipt which says the case is transferred to local service center it's only the CS which is saying the case is transferred to your local office.

I just have the original receipt which I received even I filled the 130

myimmhelp,

You don't have to have receipt from your local office to make the appointment (infopass). The original receipt is all you need.

The infopass allows you to make an appointment at your local office and speak to the Immigration Officer.

Here is the link to the infopass: http://infopass.uscis.gov/

I am sure you can get an approval in less than 4 or 5 months. In my case (for Father 's I-130petition, filled October 11th, 2012), if I had received the RFE that was mailed to me on Feb 7th, 2013 from my local office, I could have been approved few days later. Unfortunately, I was not aware about the RFE sent to me until I received a NOID (Notice Of Intent to Deny) on March 28th. I did not waste anytime and I made the appointment through the infopass (April 2nd) to speak to the IO. One day later, my I-130 was apporved (April 3rd). Yesterday, I called the NVC and my case just arrived there.
