Hi everyone !

My stiation is complicated and I haven't found any similar topic so I hope you can help me.

My mom came to the US on april 2010 and they gave her 6 months to stay in the US until october. She has 10 years tourist visa. Before her I-94 expires she applied for extension because she was taking care of her grandson. However we didn't get her answer letter before the I-94 expires. The lawyer who we worked with told us to stay in country until we get the letter even though her I-94 expires. So she did. And the letter came and was accepted. It took too long. The problem was they send the letter after the date she supposed to leave. Let say, letter say that she has to leave the country before april 10 2011 however the letter printed on may 20 2011 and we got the letter about end of the may. so we talked our lawyer and he aplied one more time in order to have a normal date for her to leave the country without any problem. But again it took too long to get an answer so she left the country before her 3th 6 months period done. Again we got the letter after she left but again letter was printed late ! Letter says she supposed to leave the country before july 24 2011 but printed on september and we got it on october ! she left the country on september 14. Well it is kind of complicated.

Sooo now she wants to come to visit us on june 2013. She has all the letters and documents. Do you think she will have problem for all of these ? Will she get ban ?

Soyou are saying that she got 2 approved extensions but over stayed the total of the extension . Her actuall overstay was from July to Sept and about 2 years ago. She shouldn't have a ban but she may have trouble entering or only get a short stay this time.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
