Hi everyone...My US citizen wife has filed a petition (IR-1 Visa). I am a Pakistani national currently living in Kuwait. I need some information about my visa processing. Will it be processed through American embassy in kuwait or I would have to go back to Pakistan to continue with my case?

Also I've heard that it takes less time here than from Pakistan embassy. How true is that?

I'll let someone more familiar with Kuwait answer, but usually you can interview in the country you are currently living in, although some embassies require proof of legal residence (I think Japan does).

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

Thanks. I have all the necessary documents to prove that I'm a legal resident here. That should not be a problem.
