So my wife and I had our interview at the Pittsburgh office today and she was approved! The interviewer told us that she will receive her green card in 2-6 weeks.

I think this is really fast, considering the fact that we just filed our I-485 2 months ago! He asked if we had questions and I forgot to ask him if the FBI name check was already done.

If he said that she would receive the green card in a couple weeks, do you guys think the name check is already completed?

This just seems really fast!

Congrratulations, I hope mine is as quick. I hhave seen a lot on here being approved in 2-3 months recently, not sure about the FBI name check though.

09/14/2006 - US Embassy interview. Ask Lauren to marry me again, just to make sure. Says Yes. Phew!

10/02/2006 - Fly to New York, EAD at JFK, I'm in!!

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

This just seems really fast!

My lawyer said to me that if the interviewer told you to wait GC for 2-6 weeks, then the result of Name check should have been there already with the interviewer.
