After contacting the embassy a couple of times after supposably my petion left the embassy on Nov 6 and still not received, I'm concerned that this might be my petition. THEY SENT IT TO THE WRONG COUNTRY

Only 2 petition were delivered within 5 day range. NVC told me they sent it Nov 6. I've contacted the embassy and as of yesterday they don't have it.

Are you attempting to track an NVC transmission of your case through DHL? Don't put much weight into that, as there is no way to ascertain which package contains your petition.

As an aside, waiting a few weeks or a month for NVC to transmit the petition to the Embassy is normal.

Relax. Make contact again with the Embassy in a few days.

That DHL tracking ####### is just that; #######.

William is correct. I would keep checking with the NVC. My wife and I found out when the approved petition reached the embassy 2 weeks before the embassy even acknowleged it and sent my wife a letter.

I am quite certain that the US Embassy in UAE is not located at 10 Yurii Kotsiubynskyi St. so they would re-route it. This simply cannot be your package.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. It usually takes the embassy a while to enter your case into the system once they receive it. The embassies will not tell you if they received the package, they will only verify once it has been entered into the system.

With some of the busier embassies, it could take 1-2 weeks for them to enter the case into the system. Wait a few more days and call them again.

K-1 VISA:

3/4/06: I-129F Sent to CSC

3/14/06: NOA1

7/21/06: IMBRA RFE received by CSC

8/22/06: NOA2

9/8/06: Case arrives at NVC

9/16/06: NVC departure letter received

9/22/06: Left NVC bound for China

10/6/06: Case arrives at Guangzhou consulate

10/20/06: Received Packet 3

10/26/06: Sent DS-230 back to consulate
