You mean Jesus isn't hand-picking apps and playing favorites?

Well... I can't confirm or deny that. There very well may be a Jesus who works for CSC. I've met a couple of guys named Jesus in California. :P

Who knew all these VJ members were putting their faith in a Hispanic government worker! Jesus, if you're reading this (if you can read at all), help out a fellow brown man, will ya?!

Congrats... That's wonderful news. You have nothing to be panicked about or feel like you are cutting the line... You likely frontloaded your petition extensively and received no RFEs. If you look through the timelines of those approved quickly, like yourself, none of them received RFEs and those from July, August that are just now getting NOA2s, almost All of them had a RFE along the way... Therefore, it appears that they are putting through cases that have no issues regardless of dates and it's taking longer for those which likely need more review. Be happy, you have received your NOA2 with lightening speed. I frontloaded ours as well so, I hope to have no RFE and be put through quickly although, ours is at VSC. Good luck to you and Congrats again. You are on your way. This is a time to rejoice. God Bless.

and exactly how do you know this???? or are we simply guessing??? I prepared our packet and I am VERY CERTAIN everything was put in there and it was put in outline form with a table of contents as suggested...therefore I apologize in advance for seeming a little skeptical. Just seems to me to be in poor taste considering we actually talking about peoples lives here; to openly suggest that if you are not absolutely certain that is a fact.

I think that people wouldn't be making a fuss if there was an approval from CSC "here or there" that was completely out of line with the chronological order....

But everyone has to understand that when CSC is virtually comatose for weeks on end, is processing almost nothing (at least from VJ members) and then they pop out 7-8 NOA2 cases, all of which have late November dates or later, the dozens of people on VJ waiting from July, August, September, etc., are going to question that a little.

My position is the same: I am truly happy for everyone that escapes the wrath of having to wait 7, 8, 9 months, but those of us waiting for 240 days and more, clearly wish that their cases would have been finished just as fast.

VJ k-1 community,

We are thrilled and panicked to announce that we have just received the e-mail notification saying that our I129-F petition has been APPROVED! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?? We received the NOA1 exactly four months ago (December 10th). We were expecting it to take at least 8 months or more considering all of the information you guys have been posting and with the USCIS national average processing time creeping upwards. I am deeply sorry for all of you who are still waiting the NOA2 and filed before us. We don't know how this happened. It is completely unfair. However, we are very nervous about the interview and need your help. First of all, our case status went from "initial review" to "post decision activity." What happened to the "decision" stage? Is this normal? Will the next packet of information be sent to my house in the US or will it be sent here to Buenos Aires? Also, I have read in some posts that the beneficiary was asked during the interview what their fiancé (me) does (I assume this refers to job/where they live). I have been living in Argentina for the past 10 months and have way over-stayed my visa. Will this raise red flags in the embassy's eyes? I only did it so I could be with my fiancé but now I'm worried this will affect their decision to give us the visa! Any ideas?? Assuming we didn't get approved without having to do the interview, how can we start preparing? I found the information on VJ about the interview to be unclear.

Thank you for providing all of the updates and information about the K-1! Keep praying that you get your approvals in the near future!

I lived in Argentina for over 2 years. The easy way to renew you visa is to go to Uruguay on the ferry for the day. You will have to pay a fine but then you will have another three months legal visa. I left Buenos Aires in 2009 I am not sure if they are becoming more strict. When I was there I heard sometime they will give people a hard time. If you go with your girlfriend it will make it easier since she is Argentine. I went to Uruguay for the day and I was there over a year on my visa. I just paid the fine before I went on the ferry and no problem when I came back. Hope this helps

You have a hypothesis and are searching for data to support it. Today it is raining. Can I conclude it rains every day? You are looking at a few cases and ignoring dozens, maybe hundreds of cases on VJ that don't support what you are saying.

As far as I know, "front loading" a petition does nothing at the USCIS level. "Front loading" is just a technique for the embassy interview which someone would try if their relationship did not seem genuine, for whatever reason.
