I'm happy for the Nov/Dec filers, I'm hoping that means I'm up next(Jan filer)....Gonna stay positive n believe that CSC is back on track

maybe CSC is in a competition with VSC and thinking:"if they can approve sept/oct filers now, then we'll approve nov/dec filers"

as for a response to those people that are waiting from july/august, CSCs response starts to look more and more to something like this: "we are approving I129fs, but we approve filers with NOA1 that we want, not what you want" :protest:

Exactly. Also there was a Nov 30th filer who got an RFE 2 days ago, so they are not cherry picking clean files.

Just the Facts as I've seen them for both centers...I never made a blanket statement indicating that no one filing in Oct-Dec got an RFE just as obviously, there plenty of people who filed in July/Aug. that did NOT get an RFE. Good Luck to you, Hope you get your NOA2 soon.

You posted the same thing in the other thread and it wasn't any more cogent there. Again, here's why you're wrong with this whole line of thinking:

Life lesson: "just facts" alone do not for cogent analysis make. Cogent analysis requires that you actually think about what you are saying and check to see if your theory of specific facts reconciles with the broader universe of known facts. You obviously have not done so.

The flaws in your analysis have been explained to you several times, so I don't hold out high hopes that this time will sink in, but here goes nothing:

1. Your theory cannot account for all of the September and October filers who have been passed over. That should be enough to stop it dead in its tracks right there. Period. End of story.

2. You are ignoring all of the pending July and August filers who have no reported RFE. (And, again, all of the September and October filers who have no RFE as well.)

3. You are ignoring the mountains of empirical evidence on this site that indicate the slow down in processing has nothing to do with file completeness and everything to do with the USCIS's priorities; i.e., there are very few adjudicator hours spent on I-129Fs due to a refocus on DACA processing. In fact, if you'd actually look at the numbers of completions per month under reasonable projection scenarios, the USCIS's current rates do not allow them to finish August filers as a matter of simple arithmetic. But what do I know? I only spent hours pouring over that data and developing a spreadsheet that proves that is true.

4. You ignore the fact that there is no way for adjudicators to know ex ante which applications are "complete" and "front loaded" and which ones are not. It makes no sense that there would be cursory examinations of applications of petitions to try and determine this, when ultimately every petition needs to be thoroughly examined and even thorough examinations take only 15-20 minutes per petition. Your processing theory would just be a gigantic waste of time.

I could go on and on and nitpick your theory more, but I think those broad points are more than sufficient. Please stop spreading your misinformation now.

I keep checking on my status while it's only been a couple months (it seems like forever!). I can't imagining waiting for a year. The fact that we can't really do anything doesn't help but I think it's good to share our experiences together.

Read about my experience on my blog (it is both in French and English) www.franceminnesota.wordpress.com

January, 17, 2013: Petition sent

I think all your reasons are wrong.

First off the files have been scanned into a computer (according to someone at USCIS), so no files to just grab and process. Second it is pretty obvious they do not care about their metrics and what would they get out of making them look better? They base their processing time on the longest standing average of applications waiting to be approved, that is obvious from the last few months. Third what are the chances that all the approved apps in the last couple days were all expedited and from nov 25-dec 3rd. Probably a slim chance. The most likely explanation, and I am hesitant to say this until few more days of approvals come through, is that they transferred some, and even then I still have no clue for sure. People wonder why there is no mention of this, and I can only say I would bet they are slow to update this in the news and or may never. Sure it sucks that many have been waiting for a long time, but speculating ####### like this only makes others more angry and confused. Your possible scenarios had little to no thought put into them and should never have been posted on this forum. They upset people and will probably cause more problems than they solve. Everyone wants this process to end, but ####### like this only fuels the fire of people waiting. Be positive and hope for the best. It will happen eventually hopefully sooner than later. Sorry for my rant but just tired of all the conspiracy theories!

The only and right answer is there is no organization.

let's think about possible scenarios for what recently happens with CSC approvals.

1. some workers, maybe newbies, picked up a random pile of K-1 applications and eagerly got to work on them. which would explain the "normal" pace of a few approvals a day.

the fact that the dates of the NOA1s are so close to each other happens to be a coincidence, because the pile that got picked up happened to be from late november.

2. CSC is trying to make their metrics look good. either so people stop complaining or can't complain. their attitude could shift to "we are at a 5 month average anyway, so stop calling us". which would of course only apply to concerned applicants from november and later. however if they want to reach a lower average processing time, it would mean filers from october and earlier have every right to be granted service requests. which would cause the CSC even more extra work.

i personally have no idea what system they work with and how this could really be beneficial to them.

3. those cases were expedites. but we know from forum activity that this fact does not apply on all of them.

what can be said for sure is, that if they keep playing this game, they can expect some angry phone calls. from me for sure.

they only give july - october filers every reason to get riled up and they even lower their system of defense by processing later months. there's no more excuses.

what else could be a reason? can someone think of an explanation for this mystery?

We agree with you and we are so upset about this too!
