No interview letter received yet, but FINALLY THE INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULED!

My fi and I have been trying to plan a last hurrah before his visa interview and subsequent "ban" from entering the US until he is ready to enter the US for our marriage. Just to be on the safe side, he emailed the Paris consulate a few days ago to find out whether or not they had received his packet 3 (he is currently working in Brazil, mail is complicated). This morning he got an email reply along the lines of "of course they received his packet, he's scheduled for an interview on April 24, and all of the information he needs is in the letter he received"... except he hasn't received the letter, or his parents haven't, anyway, because that's where all of his mail has been directed since they live in France and can receive things more quickly.

And now... oh shoot, how is he going to squeeze in a visit here before going to his interview? We thought we'd have more than 2 weeks to plan this out!!!!

Anyway, HALLELUJIAH! THE INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULED!!! This is perhaps all that I really wished to convey.

Our Timeline
Oct 2009 - First met at a conference for work in Puerto Rico
Nov 2009 to Present - Many visits between us!
October 2011 - Julien visited Malynda and proposed!
July 2012 - Malynda visited France to meet all of Julien's family and work on K1 Visa forms
August 3, 2012 - K1 Visa Application mailed in!!
August 8, 2012 - NOA 1 Received
December 2012 - Julien visited Iowa to meet all of Malynda's family
February 13, 2013 - NOA 2 Received
April 24, 2013 - Visa Interview & APPROVAL!!!

July 1, 2013 - Julien moved to the US!

04.28.2013 RFE hard copy rec'vd

05.03.2013 RFE response mailed to CSC

05.06.2013 RFE response received at CSC

05.09.2013 NOA2 text!!!!!!

05.13.2013 NOA2 Hard Copy received YAY!!!!

07.24.2013 Date of Packet 4

07.26.2013 Received packet 4

08.30.2013 Interview at London Embassy

APPROVED!!!!! YAY YAY YAY!!!!!
