I am wondering...These late Nov-early december approvals are close to the 5 month goal. If they work only on the older cases, it will take a long time to reach the 5 month goal. Could it be that, for whatever metric is used, that it is better to have X% in the goal, and the older cases that are already past, it doesn't matter if they are 6, or 7, or 8, or 9, or...months, that they are late anyway, so it is low priority to work on those since it won't affect their metric?

This really could be the feared black hole.

This is what I have been saying. It's juggling figures to look good. I don't see anything happening for july/august filers for another 6 weeks or more.

It is maddening for me too. I am a July filer. I'm happy for those who got their NOA2 from November, but at the same time furious at USCIS because #######?!?!?! Why are November filers being processed when half of July hasn't been touched? I hope that most of them were RFEs so as to provide an explanation.

Personally, I think that when we are being told it could be about a year to get an NOA2 from CSC, it's gonna be about right :(

Would have loved a nice warm summer in oregon but looks like i will get a cold, foggy winter. Oh well, we will just have to snuggle up in front of the wood stove to keep each other warm. They say every cloud has a silver lining :) lol

6weeks that's crazy but first of all Iam a July 30th Noa1 and I wanna ask csc ####### are they doing?

I am only guessing based on the figures I can see. I may be well off. You are only a week ahead of me so who knows.

Trying calling and asking them what they are doing. We got nowhere trying that, you may have better luck.

It's as if they just throw all the petitions in the air and whichever lands on top gets processed. That seems like the most logical explanation I can come up with so far. Or paper airplanes and the one that flys the farthest.

Now CSC has approved 9 VJ members in two days eight of which are right around December 1st, this is no coincidence they are up to no good, too many approvals at that target date also they haven't approved that many in two days in recent history.. Something is definitely up! Any ideas what can be done about it if anything?

I like many others am torn. I am happy to see petitions being processed these last few days at what appears to be a reasonable rate. I am excited at the prospects of them getting caught back up and my case (february filer) getting done in a more reasonable time frame than I'd feared would be reality. On the other hand, I feel absolutely horrid about all those July - October filers who've been seemingly brushed aside for whatever reason. I really want to see CSC catch up for my own sake and for others in here, but not at the expense of those who have waited so long before us. I truly hope that they have some plan to get everyone back within acceptable times (5 months or less) sooner rather than later

####### is going on with CSC?! Nine approvals in the last two days and EIGHT are late November/December petitions??? I'm happy for the people who got approved, but the CSC needs to take care of those of us who have been waiting over twice as long.

We met: 4/11/2012

NOA1 Date: 8/3/2012

NOA2 Date: 4/24/2013

I'm not happy to see anyone in September an after get their NOA2. There's a supposed line and they got served before me but waited less. No doubt waiting 5 months is brutal, and good luck to your relationship, but I'm not happy about it. And waiting almost twice they did is exponentially more difficult.

Remember there was a plumbing issue at CSC a few weeks ago and some files were damaged. Most likely the files from July, Aug, Sept, Oct were the ones damaged. Maybe the reason why newer petitions are being processed. Still, very unfair to those filers.

So it appears that there has been 6 approvals in the last 2 days at CSC...it's great getting a little action from CSC finally....but out of the 6 approvals 2 were November filers and 3 were December filers....####### is going on CSC??? what happened to july/august/September/October??? it really blows my mind and makes me furious that Ive been waiting since August 20th and they're pulling December approvals out of their ####...how does that happen? does anybody have any idea as to how they would manage this? a method to their madness perhaps?

We are pretty upset about this news too!

I am beyond angry now. I've even thought of replying to the canned response from the ombudsman, and seeing what canned response I get from that. I'm happy for the November and December filers who can continue with their lives now. Mine is still in a holding pattern, as are all of us from October, September, August and July! Someone has to know about this. I sent another email to my Senator's aide. Hopefully someone will contact me soon.
