Would that be my local USCIS office, where I did my fingerprints? Or the Chicago Lockbox??

and for the date question? Would that be my NOA1 date?

Either (this question is antiquated and doesn't make too much sense for the Lockbox system).

The date you sent it in is fine. It doesn't really matter too much.

The answer is no. Advance parole is neither a reentry permit nor a refugee travel document. You have only been approved for Advance Parole before (as far as I know, unless you have a secret past ).

I noticed on the original letter I got from USCIS with my Combo card it says:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION-SAVE THIS MAILER

Uses this section to speed your application for an extension or replacement card.

Then is has my A#, name, address, and some bar codes.

Down at the VERY BOTTOM of the letter it says:

The tear-off portion of this mailer can also help speed you later application for another card. When you file for another card, we recommend you attach the tear-off portion of your completed application.

What 'tear-off portion'???

I'm making a copy of this letter to send. Should I send the original instead?

Dunno on that. Usually a "tear-off" portion is the bottom third or so of a letter, delineated by a perforated horizontal cutting so you can tear it off, like many paper invoices have (it might be very small cuts). As far as original v. copy, I don't think it matters. Sending that back is optional anyway.

Don't sweat over this renewal thing. I bet the instant you send it off you'll get GC approved anyway, isn't that how life works? lol

What's the turn around on these renewals!? It's not as long as the initial application for the EAD/AP combo right?

I have a drivers licence that needs to be renewed in June. Hope I'll have something before then!!! :bonk:
