Hello all, Sorry, we are waiting for our lives to be normal at last. The embassy received the file almost a month ago but still no pk3 for Danita. From other's profiles it seems to only take about 2 weeks. We are both so ready for this uuuhhhh! sorry for the venting.

Why are you waiting for packet 3? I thought the new process is to go to their website and download it. Maybe someone else can confirm.

In K and immigrant visa petitions approved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in Bangkok, applicants should download the visa packages from this web page. Receipt of an I-797 Notice of Approval from USCIS does not indicate that the case is pending with the U.S. Embassy. The downloadable documents below are provided solely for those who have cases pending with the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok. Please do not send any of the documents below to the Embassy unless instructed to do so.

Agreed. We had already downloaded it and compiled before we got notice of transfer the the Embassy. As soon as we did, we had ready to go via EMS. Once they sent notice of Packet 3 we sent it the next day and 5 days later received notice of the interview for a week after that!

Nice, sounds easy. In Thailand is the notice for interview mailed or is it on internet too?

thanks

Tim

I believe we got both an e-mail and mailed notice. It was unbelievably fast and I had to scramble to get a flight because I wanted to go with even though I knew I would be waiting outside. Good luck!

Yes, I recieved the package 3 last week with instruction to d/l from the website and I sent it out on Tuesday; however with EMS it only reached the embassy next day and it is now stuck in embassy for Songkran long holiday before I would get any response from them since the embassy starts their holiday tomorrow!

Hi, I am one step or so behind you and trying to figure out what to do.

I do see that I can start working on the packet 3 list from the embassy site.

I am wondering if I am supposed to be calling NVC and if there is something I can/should do to get from NOA 2 through the NVC stage and to embassy.

Thx
