Hello all,

As I sit watching my beautiful Fiancee sew. I was thinking...

I wanted us to dance our first dance as Husband and Wife to one of Khánh Ly's songs. Can anyone help me choose one?

My Fiancee loves her music and plays it often, thought this would be a nice suprise when we get married here in the US.

Thank you,

Steve

I think most of Khanh Ly's songs will not be good fits for wedding...

Wow really? I thought some were love songs.

Wow thank you - Would there be a traditional Vietnamese song or music that would be more fitting?

Thanks,

Steve

I am sure some of the songs she sang are love songs, but keep in mind, most if not 99% of Vietnamese love songs are sad, heart broken songs, especially for singers like Khanh Ly, Le Thu... Heck, even Vietnamese New Year genre still have the sad tone in of of them...

There are some wedding specifics Vietnamese songs and they are more upbeat.. I can look up those for you if you like, but I don't believe that Khanh Ly is in any of those :)

Thank you 100! That would be great! Thank you so much for your help... We are getting close, and trying to start making some plans. I could not have made it this far without Visa Journey.

Thanks,

Steve

I haven't heard a happy song from Khanh Ly so I suggest you stay away from Khanh Ly's music.

Steve, this song should be fine for a wedding:

The title could be loosely translated as "Our Castle of Love." It was written in the 1970s by Tran Thien Thanh, a very well-known Vietnamese singer. The lyrics are here:

Congrats, and good luck in your new life.
