The data is from January. How can you even go off this data and say they will be caught up? It does not show how many applications for the last 4 months have been sent in, or if theres a influx.

6 months ago VSC was moving at a snail's pace while it seemed filers at CSC were flying through and actually there are still plenty of people whose petitions are being adjudicated in 7 or 8 months at Vermont. Everyone was complaining then just like now. These shifts happen all the time, and even before DACA the service centers were still hovering around an average of 7 months.

I've noticed that over the past ten days or so our VJ's "based on timeline data your I129f may be adjudicated between August 23rd and August 31, 2013" has risen from August 14 to August 22 as a low, so over the past ten days a week of estimated processing time has been added. Perhaps VSC has received some of the workload has been shifted?

Or as Sarah and Adnan said the throughput may change as a matter of normalcy.

I agree. A HUGE difference :(

Ditto. Can the know-it-alls PLEASE spare us? Popping into a thread and devaluing someone's genuine emotional distress and telling them to "suck it up" serves no purpose. If they think they are giving a "tough love" pep talk... trust me... they are WRONG. So let people who are actually in the situation of being separated from their loved ones complain to one another without having to butt in and tut-tut, and scold them. Jeez.

VSC's slowest month was about double what CSC's has been for the past 4 months. It's not much of a comparison. Perhaps you should take a look at the data yourself.

And there is a huge difference between my fiancee being 6000 miles away and waiting on paperwork, and her living with me every day and waiting for paperwork. Do you get that? Do you see the subtle difference there champ?

This type of post is a ###### insult.

Reading only what you want to see instead of what's written, eh champ?

And you are looking too far into the present for your "data", in addition to not having read what I wrote. Most of last year CSC was averaging 2 months shorter time frames in case adjudication than VSC. This has been going back and forth for the last 3 years, long before DACA came into the picture. I was responding to the comment written about VSC speeding up, which is really not the case. It is staying about the same and CSC has slowed down. And I acknowledged it will be easier with having one's loved one here in the country, but I am merely reminding everyone that this is just the beginning of a long journey. There will be a lot more headaches to come. People who are finished and naturalized can tell you as much. FFS, calm the F down.

Tell me where exactly in my post did I say "suck it up"? A waste of energy yes, because there is nothing to be done about the time frame, but I didn't devalue anyone's feelings or emotions. Christ you folks are gonna get aneurysms if you keep this up. I am merely trying to get people to keep a little perspective. And I am also waiting for my NOA2 so I have every right to post on these threads. I have also been in a long distance relationship for 2 years in which time I have only seen my fiance for a grand TOTAL of 2 months. So don't think I don't know what you are going through. Spare ME from the lack of reading comprehension.

I will tell you that, if you tell me where in my post I specifically referenced, quoted, or mentioned you. I am referring to a general mentality among several responders, to this and other similarly themed threads. I'm a long way from an aneurysm, and have plenty of perspective. I've followed these trends for years. I do concede that some people are panicking a bit, but I also can't really blame them. And I certainly sympathize with those who are annoyed at the way the government has handled things. The visa experience is very personal. People don't care what the trend is, they care when THEIR petition will be processed, when THEIR visa will be issued, and when THEIR fiancee or spouse will be with them. Commiseration is beneficial. Discussion of issues is beneficial. Perceived scolding, slighting, and attacking one another (not pointing the finger here) is harmful.

That's pretty much what we knew before.. They are focusing on DACA's, just that now, they've thrown in some numbers. Yeah, they have been "working" on july filers since 4-5 months ago..it's a pitty, honestly.

And the President said in his speech that approving the illegals would come after the legal filings were approved.

NOA 1 November 15, 2010

NOA 2 August 25, 2011

Hate to break it to you but CSC has been procssing the July 2012 applications for the past 4 months. I have called every month for the past 4 months and always get the same response. Then they tell me to call back around mid-next month....only to get the same response, "We are currently processing the July 2012 applications." :(

....8 months plus waiting for a NOA2, WOW!!!....I would pull my hair out!!!!!!

Sorry, but this is not an honest answer from them, nor is it news.....

Agreed. Anyone who called at any time will get the same answer from those people. Wait for X days, X being the date between the NOA1 receipt date and the "currently processing" date. The only thing I would ask for from that USCIS officer is the amount of time you waited on hold to be given back to you. They are totally useless.

I honestly did not know that CSC was tasked since summer/2012 with this extra workload. I thought this Dream Act guidelines was still in the works. I guess not. Has CSC been tasked with all these applicants...Vermont sure seems to be able to process K1 app's weekly....maybe the 821D forms should be spread to other service centers to help spread the wealth around. It sure seems CSC is over tasked right now badly....10K apps each month normally,....to 25K each month...WOW!!!!

Discussion of issues is beneficial. Perceived scolding, slighting, and attacking one another (not pointing the finger here) is harmful.

I was just following the thread, seemed quite clear you were referencing me and perhaps others. I am not unsympathetic. I am suffering greatly personally like everyone else here. It both comforts and upsets me that there are so many others going through the same anguish I am. I am more sympathetic, however, to people waiting to be reunited with their kids, in addition to their fiance/spouse because they are doubly suffering. But there are better ways to make the time pass than spending the whole day griping on a forum, especially since USCIS-bashing diatribes on VJ doesn't change anything. I don't see any mass action being taken (other than one or two change.org petitions which I have signed) to demand USCIS shorten their processing times by whatever means necessary, and short of sustained, concrete action that galvanizes the national public attention we are all at the mercy of an understaffed, poorly organized federal institution and politics. It's not fair, it's not right, but it's reality.

Also, this is the internet. Scolding, slighting, and attacking comes with the territory.

They were on March 8. CSC sent some to TSC. But then there were plumbing problems, and God knows what else.
